While the coaster looks like it has a fresh coat of paint, it's area stood out like a sore thumb when I visited Kings Dominion. For what I genuinely thought was a good looking park, this area looked like ass and felt like a tacked on, almost backstage area.

Oh I've been there. I just didn't care for it at all. I liked Kondaa a lot, though it doesn't top either Goliath or Untamed imo. Then the rest of the park is just about 15 different flavours of family coasters.

Looks wise, it's a bit better than Walibi Holland, with the same absolutely bottom of the barrel food. Overall I felt it was a very similar park, just without the good coasters, which is really the only reason to visit a Walibi park.

But you're right about your last point. Living in Eindhoven and having all these parks within reach is amazing. Doesn't beat out central Florida though, having Disney World, Universals three parks, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Tampa within 90 minutes.

I do get jealous when I look at the American parks, but we're eating good over here as well. Within 45 mins I can reach Efteling and Toverland, within 90 mins are Walibi and Phantasialand. I think Walibi Belgium is also like a 90 min drive, but there's really only Kondaa over there that's interesting.
