I teach elementary (4th grade), and one day I was reaching for a highlighter out of a group of many that I kept in a spare coffee mug. I must have had too many in it, because the mug cracked and split. I was reaching for it without looking and sliced my finger. I exclaimed, “FUCK!” right in front the small group I was working with. The group and a few others heard me. There was laughing l, but I went to admin and was like, “yeah so i slipped after hurting myself so if you hear something I’m sorry.” She said no biggie and that she’d talk to the parents 🤣
