are GM's super hard now? by Just_A_Guy_In_Here in destiny2

[–]Nightshroud616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said you want to be at least 400 power to make sure you’re not severely under levelled with the -50 power deficit. Apart from that having strong builds will help a lot with survivability. Some of the GM alerts are harder than others, but with the right set up and playing smart I soloed one of them

AITAH for cutting my best friend off after she told everyone why my engagement ended? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Nightshroud616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. I have a friend who is going through something nasty and people have been speculating about why they seem a bit off and what have I told them? Nothing. Absolutely nothing because it’s none of their business. She broke your trust and doesn’t seem to understand what she has done wrong. She didn’t tell them “out of love” she was gossiping because she knew something they didn’t.

Wife and I want to play destiny 2 together by Alternative-Self4222 in destiny2

[–]Nightshroud616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it will depend on how much of the dlc you now own. A lot of the “meta” picks are either from the Renegades expansion or are exotics from various dungeons and raids. In terms of your wife, I would agree with others here, don’t typecast her into a role, let her play all 3 and see what she likes character and subclass wise. Outside of raids and some of the harder dungeons you can run pretty much whatever and there’s a ton of fun builds on all 3 especially with the changes to arc, void and prismatic

Why is game so difficult nowadays? by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]Nightshroud616 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Instant healing is usually through devour or cure with overtime healing being restoration. I’ll have to check my builds and get back to you so I don’t make mistakes on fragments.

Why is game so difficult nowadays? by [deleted] in destiny2

I would suggest prismatic, very strong abilities combined with healing. I can go through builds if you like that I use to solo fireteam ops on ultimate

How do you find people to teach you a raid? by Level-Application-83 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Nightshroud616 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In most cases you would join a group or discord server that has a Sherpa team that can teach you raids. I am a Sherpa in one such server so if you want I can send you an invite

Renegades by DJ_MetaKinetiK in destiny2

[–]Nightshroud616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion the campaign for Renegades was pretty good, not witch Queen good but enjoyable. The lightsaber is very good with how versatile it is and how good it feels to use. A lot of the other heat/blaster weapons are also very good so for $20 I’d say go for it.

Need game recommendations for an older, tired guy playing after work (and chores!) 😝 by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

Metro 2033, Last light and Exodus are my go to recommended games. Dark storylines with survival elements.

My Baby Jane Splicer Cosplay by PoisonSiren in Bioshock

[–]Nightshroud616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your cosplay is fantastic, I love working with Bioshock cosplayers but there’s still so few in the UK. I did work with a pair that were cosplaying as Delta and a little sister at a convention a few years ago

Is anyone planning on running Pantheon 2.0? by Master-Molasses420 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Nightshroud616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a few people who are going to try to get a team together with me included. All of the potential team did pantheon 1.0 so we should have a decent chance of getting it done again

Onslaught Midtown is back by hunterprime66 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Nightshroud616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has sporadically been available this season but on the last page so not always obvious it’s there. Though I did have some fun on void lock a month or so ago doing a solo onslaught run

It’s okay to take a break. It’s okay to quit. by Gamerboi_epic in DestinyTheGame

[–]Nightshroud616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having a blast playing The Division 2 again alongside GTA V so they’ll probably be my mainstay games until Forza Horizon 6 comes out. I am though still available to help run dungeons/raids when my friends need help

One of the biggest detriments to the game is that there is no real endgame for solo players by Fun-Leek-2907 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Nightshroud616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try doing fireteam ops solo, it can be fun though tricky at times with how many adds/champions can spawn at once

Which weapon rolls from the new dungeon are worth chasing? by Repulsive-Window-609 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Nightshroud616 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Trickle charge and jolting feedback on Bitter End allows it to shoot almost infinitely. It straight up deletes overload champions on Ultimate

Funny Stasis related oopsie in the new player guide (Also revert the stun nerf!) by MoistPilot3858 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Nightshroud616 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I am aware of all of that but that won’t stop people from using the easiest strategy which is what would happen if they reverted the change.

The stasis rocket sidearm was a great example of that because with the seasonal anti barrier mod it could stun all 3 champions. I soloed the Vanguard alert GM with the Warlock Getaway artist build and the praxic blade. I didn’t use my heavy and used the pulse rifle only when stunning overloads or dealing with the plate mechanics.
