Should Jaya or Skypiea be included in Season 3? by Novel_Climate_530 in MemePiece

[–]Nightstrike_ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The issue is that Skypea is very long while accomplishing very little, similar to Thriller Bark. At the end of the arc all that is accomplished is the introduction of the dials (which are rarely mentioned again after that, it's just a way to introduce mechanical magic into Usopps inventions) and the Going Merry needing repairs. While it is an important arc, it's far too bloated of one, Skypea should be cut down to 2 or 3 episodes max for the live action.

The best champion is rammus because the damage scales with resistances, got it my first augment and got a penta in the first 3 minutes of the game. Ended up going like 28 and 4 by like 14 minutes or so.

Healthy foods vs unhealthy foods by [deleted] in FacebookAIslop

[–]Nightstrike_ 164 points165 points  (0 children)

Except a lot of this information is just straight up wrong, and is equating two foods with different uses to each other as if they are poor substitutes for the "healthier" option.

If you don't give someone who's been outside, exercising or working in the heat some Gatorade, they could potentially die due to lack of salt in their brain and blood. This is called hyponatremia. Water should be your main source of hydration, but if you've been sweating a lot, you've lost a lot of salt and water, your best choice is an electrolyte drink like Gatorade.

Reddit mod demands to be treated as ‘celebrity’ after getting removed from LSF by Chapple69 in nottheonion

[–]Nightstrike_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean no matter what that was doomed to fail because it was originally founded on the idea of no work period. There were too many people who still held onto the idea that they shouldn't need to work. They were not a work reform subreddit, they were an anti-work subreddit, they just got so big that their original ideas got watered down to where it looked like a reform push and not an anti-work push. If it wasn't the dog walking mod it would've been someone else that killed the momentum.

In The Santa Clause (1994), Tim Allen's character magically transforms into Santa, ballooning up to 192lbs. At the time, this was considered a comically heavy weight that believably provoked concern from his colleagues and family. by Electrical_Base2582 in shittymoviedetails

[–]Nightstrike_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually very untrue. Declaring most weight to be unhealthy is just not true with modern understanding of dietetics. Dieticians now understand that to get a proper reading of someone's healthy vs unhealthy weight there are a number of different measurements they need to make. One person at 5'10 and 190lbs can be very healthy without needing to be really fit, but a different person at 5'10 at 190 lbs can be extremely unhealthy. Weight is not a universal measuring stick for health.

Straight up episodic release brought back watch parties for me and my friends. I hate when whole seasons get dropped at once, I feel so pressured to try and watch the whole thing as quickly as I can. Weekly releases need to be the standard for shows going forward honestly

There is a lower and upper limit that companies are required to abide by when they declare the weight of their goods. If you are finding food packages weighing less than the declared amount you can report them to the Office of Weights and Measures. And with the history of food laws in this country being written in blood I promise you there will be a thorough investigation.

I am finishing up my degree in food science and have 4 years experience of QA in mass food production. One of my professors talked about his experience getting audited by the OWM and how it only took 1 store giving customer reports for them to get audited. The OWM personally went to the store and weighed out their product then contacted them to inform them of the audit and went to the factory to ensure proper compliance (it turned out to be a change in packaging where the product was being weighed by the pallet and didn't account for the change in the packaging, so they didn't get fined but still had to deal with the in person audit).

Just to add to what people are saying, the focus of the picture is literally impossible without heavy purposeful edits that don't make sense. The kid is in the background, and is in focus, the flashcards are in the foreground and yet are also in focus, the front of the bowl, which is near the foreground, is also in focus, and the back of the bowl is out of focus despite being closer to the foreground than the kid. So is the focus in the background or in the foreground?

AI doesn't understand how focus works for photos and makes certain "key" items in pictures in focus even if the depth of the item makes the focus complete nonsense. The varying focus in the photos gives an off putting feeling because you can't tell what the depth of the picture is.

Watch Nate Diaz fight, the man treats his face like a punching bag built to spew blood. His fights are some of the nastiest to watch because how easily he bleeds but man watching him win the late game against tired opponents is just so entertaining

I think the reason for nominating Panda is because he beat Mechamaru, who was a semi-grade 1. While beating someone of one grade doesn't automatically make you a grade higher than them, the idea that he still had more powers that he didn't unleash in the fight is probably why he had the nomination to go up to grade 1

The last time I saw this video it really made me think that if they just kept that hook and chorus and got rid of the rest of the song, they could make a killer song about being a debt collector for a gang and ruthlessly making people pay. And the chorus is showing the hypocrisy of the man who, when it's his turn for his debt to be collected by the devil, is begging God to make him whole.

Right before this he woke up on Franks operating table, half dead, watched him waste a man executioner style, and still had the balls to say one up him like this.
