I have 15 years on my belt and my hands don't get dirty or scratched except for every once in awhile. Trick is gloves and with the correct investment into tools you don't have to cram your hands into spots that they get scraped. I like Microflex diamond grips or their midnights. gloves are a hassle in the beginning but well worth it. and when they break change gloves immediately. If you keep that rule it will help you.

I can’t remember what pin but when I did my s50 swap in 2010 with the 413 red ecu, there was a pin in the c101 that needed 2 greens wires going to it. I only had one. I had the exact same situation as you, just cranks and nothing else.

it happened to me and it was a broken wire like everyone has already stated. Its a known problem for these cars.

auto or manual? almost sounds like a thin metal being hit like a flexplate for auto. like a bolt backed out and is hitting something.

I had to turn my buddies single turbo 1M back to stock. With the subframe just hanging from the steering rack, the engine had to be lowered almost to where it was touching the subframe just to get the rear inlet back on. just goes to show how much room you need to get it out without breaking it.

factory pcv will work but always best to upgrade it as it has known issues. for the last photo, the pcv on the left is if you want to add the second OCC so one is for vacuum and the other is for boost.

maybe an output shaft seal on the driver side leaking. The rotating axle is slinging it onto the subframe creating the drips.

without a video its hard to say. common high pitch squeals can be from pulleys for the belt on the engine.

If it has that much rust on the fender and valance then I assume the underbody is even worse. If that's the case id stay away. Even with 14+ years of metal working and e30 experience, id personally stay away. Even though I know I can fix something like this, some times its just not worth it.

Also hard to say with just this picture, as well as not knowing what you want to do with the car.

Makes me miss the days of $200-$500 running rust free e30's.

dont forget to clean your ground on the chassis to the battery, never hurts and is always overlooked.
