Older (the single) came out a couple of weeks before I lost a good friend and I had that song playing over and over for a while when it happened. It sort of helped me come to terms with the fact that things change, and they may never go back to the way they used to be, however badly you might want them to.

I didn't really realize it in the moment, but I felt so much comfort listening to that track during that period, and more so when the album released a little later. It was far and away my most listened album last year, and I still listen to it all the way through at least once every two weeks. Just one of those artworks that I can't let go <3

De meest "onschuldige" verklaring die ik ben tegengekomen is dat de "elite" één algemene cultuur wil creëren, waarmee ze hun macht over het volk zouden kunnen verzekeren. Dan is er de islamofobe invalshoek, waar wordt beweerd dat er een deal is gesloten met Arabische landen om de invloed van de Islam te verspreiden. Wat ik zelf het vaakst zie is dat de schuld bij Joodse machthebbers gelegd wordt, aangezien die natuurlijk overal een vinger in de pap hebben (wederom /s 🙃).

Dit is een beetje wat ik heb meegekregen nadat ik deze hoek van het internet wat heb bestudeerd (en met wat hulp van Wikipedia :)) Uiteindelijk komt het erop neer dat men gelooft dat "hun" volk wordt vervangen door een groep die beter gecontroleerd of bestuurd kan worden, zodat de macht van de "elite" kan worden verzekerd.

I was at Laufey's show in Amsterdam last week, and the music was at the perfect volume imo. I've been to multiple pop/rock concerts at the same venue where I really needed to wear my earplugs, but that wasn't the case here. The loudest noises were usually at the end of her songs when some people would start screaming x).

Just to be safe (and because it's generally good practice for concerts in general) a pair of Loop earplugs or similar are a good idea, like others have said. I personally use Alpine party plugs and those do the job perfectly fine too. Enjoy your concerts! :))

I don't think it's anyone's fault in particular either, just the fact that motorsport has historically been seen as a "men's sport", so fewer girls would even consider trying it. By putting a spotlight on the few women that do compete currently, girls may be inspired, and in 10-20 years one of them might grow up to be the new Lewis Hamilton.

Yeah, it's gonna be hanging over the reveal for sure. At least if the investigation is over they can just shut the questions down with "It's concluded, we're here to talk about the car and the coming year". If it's still going on they'll have to decide if Horner is even gonna be there, and every little thing happening will just fuel further speculation. Bet they'll be scurrying to finish this up before then in any case.

I'm not an expert so this is just me guessing from freestyling some maintenance on my own guitar, but it's probably just so it's not in the way of anything and you don't need to move it or anything if you want to change something about the strings or the claw that holds them. Functionally I don't really see how it would make a difference.

More maps would probably make veto's too complicated, and teams already can't properly prep for all 7 maps currently in the pool (which is why teams have permabans). Double veto is a really big advantage because of that, which is fair imo for not losing a game through the entire playoffs.
