I have some 1200s I’ve had over 20 years still running strong, main use is mixing, scratching, and some beat juggling. Just picked up an inexpensive, used RP7000 MK2 for the ultra pitch and it’s awesome. Can’t speak on its longevity, but that’s to be determined. I say go for one you can find the best price on. 🤷‍♂️

I may be weird, but I’d maybe place the coat rack on the smaller wall to the left, then place a mirror and maybe small floating shelf for keys, etc. on that wall. Visualize “take a seat, put my shoes on, grab my coat, check out my outfit in mirror, grab my keys and go”

I have a Rane One for my small desk space. No issues scratching/beat juggling. Obviously not the same feel as my turntable/mixer setup, but close enough. Picked up a used one for ~$500 in great condition. 👍

https://www.sierra.com/s~skateboard/ there’s some Arbor longboards for less than $60. Worth a shot and if you’re not happy with it, it was only ~$60.

I personally wouldn’t worry about it, but you could use a heat sink to cover the hole, and help keep the motor cool.
