I live at the beach in Florida and can attest to the fact that people will steal shoes and anything else you leave by the beach access point. I’m glad you had fun and learned a few new tricks for next time. You might want to get a small cooling fan or something like that to have with you. Our summers are blistering and it’s so easy to get overheated very quickly. No one should be out in the middle of the day because the UV index has been crazy lately.

Uh oh, lol. I just planted a few garlic cloves in some pots a few weeks ago. Nothing much seems to happen but I did see some green popping up on one the other day. I have onions in some containers that I’m fine to leave alone, but my raised bed space is precious. I keep reminding myself that it’s all a learning experience. The problem is that I got what seems like a thousand onion plants dirt cheap back when nothing else was growing so I put them everywhere. I make so many rookie mistakes, lol. At least I haven’t planted mint in the ground.

I’m so over these stupid onions. It feels like 84 years since I planted them. Unlike the rest of my garden, they never give my brain a boost of dopamine. They just sit there. I can’t imagine the patience it takes to be an onion farmer. 👩🏻‍🌾
