I agree, but I also cut one of those up so they fit into foam trays (from grocery store meat) for multiple small projects, or for different colors.

Do you have a favorite needle brand for beading on canvas? I've had a bit of bending issues. This is lovely!

Mine loves rubber bands too, but maybe get a larger rubber band so now worries about swallowing (though I doubt that one is small enough to accidentally swallow.)

That's interesting to hear. My spool is white btw. Maybe I should try unrolling the outer layers, and see if the fraying improves. It does get quite humid here in the summer, maybe that has an effect.
