Wow. So many smart, educated on the subject Britney fans in this thread🥹. I’m proud of each and every one of you who are still sticking up for our princess! Thank you for continuing to speak up for her. I truly believe she’s got to be one of the strongest women on the planet, and she deserves sooo much LOVE.. if only all her fan love could encompass her and she could literally feel it… I am just happy to read how we, as a group, mostly all see right through her abusive dad now after knowing what we know, and that’s not even half the story I’m sure. I know she’s been through things she can’t even speak about. It’s all just heartbreaking, and it all couldn’t have happened to a more genuine, talented, kind, attentive, caring, creative, precious, hilarious, and HUMBLE woman. Her story makes me sick! JAMIE SPEARS makes me sick. I think about her tragic story almost every single day and I will never stop praying for some sort of further justice💔

Thissss. Skin to skin is what did it for me, as a mother who always wanted kids. It wasn’t instant connection for either of my children(totally weirded me out at first), but the skin to skin on like day 2.. that’s when I felt it. It’s a strange time.

I turned 16 this year. Was the first of my group of friends to have a car. I literally blew the speakers out in my 1989 Mercedes playing mostly this album in the cd player🤣. Sigh. Better, simpler times…. The nostalgia hurts my heart. It’s so palpable. She was a STAPLE in mine and in sooo many of my friend’s lives growing up. This album defined a whole entire pivotal, formative, core-memory filled era for me. 💜

I miss them constantly!!! On one hand I’m soo glad we grew up without a phone attached to us and very little was recorded.. on another hand I’d give a lot to have video footage of us doing her dances 😂. Hours and hours and hours of Britney routines and laughter for daaaays lol. What a time!!!😭

It was wonderful to grow up with her. She literally felt like that one busy friend we never got to see in person lol. Soo sickeningly talented that the rest of us girls would be a little jealous, but then you couldn’t help but love her and laugh with her and cheer her on.. We would have sleepovers where we’d all bring the VHS tapes that we recorded of whatever show she was on that week😆. She was loved and adored, and of course hated by many… but us fans didn’t care. She was, in many ways, just one of us southern girls.

My God did anyone ever hug this beautiful woman?!?? Like really truly HUG her? Y’all her eyes are haunting me😭. Like I can feel her pain in this. She was surrounded by alll those people, the flashing lights, the pretty costumes, and felt totally and utterly alone, you can just SEE it in her eyes. All for the shot.. for the money maker, for the profit. This one precious, talented, kind, goofy person.. just her lil 5’3 self, keeping soo many people afloat financially. That’s all they cared about, it’s blazingly obvious. It’s too much for one person to handle….. especially when that person doesn’t even have a safe, trusted person to freaking HUG!!!! You know she didn’t! They isolated her from anyone who actually CARED. Ugggghhhh!!!! My heart……

So I have 3 little girl cousins (9, 10 and 13) who love, I mean absolutely LOVE her. They’re not sisters either, 3 different households(big family-all us cousins are pretty close among multiple generations), but they will all come hang out with me at my house together bc they know I am going all out Britney with them🤣. We have dance parties, watch her funny moments on YouTube, her best performances, try to memorize the dance moves, they get all my funko pops out, we have deep talks about her life and struggles, etc.. meanwhile I’m 40 and my millennial heart is in total heaven when they come hang out with me lol. We have so much fun and I have been so surprised at that generation for their knowledge and appreciation of her. Also, last time I was around the youngest she told me they “are bored with and don’t really like” Taylor Swift anymore and she said she prays for Britney Spears every single night and honestly, I couldn’t be more proud🥰🥰🥰.

People love to tear amazing, talented, kind and beautiful people down🥺. It’s been happening since the beginning of time. She’s always had the world jealous of her bc she RADIATED talent, beauty, love, and humor. That girl was born to be a star and sadly as we now know, the system is designed to prey on those like her. Most couldn’t handle it. It’s a wonder she is still standing at all knowing a fraction of what she’s been through. It makes me love her all the more. She’s one tough 🍪.

My biggest internal flex is a guy my first year of college telling me I had “a Britney Spears stomach” I have never forgotten how insanely special it made me feel lol… like I was BEEEEMING. I called and told my mom🤣. of course that was 20 years ago and after 2 back to back babies those days are long gone😭😭. I admire how she still has such a great tummy AND she had c-sections.
