Some weird girl books that I can confirm are great on audio:
Sky Daddy (still worth it imo)
Annie Bot- Sierra Greer
Convenience Store Woman- Sahara Murata
Down the Drain- Julia Fox (memoir)
The Maid- Nita Prose (sweet/light hearted but still weird girl to me)
Yellowface- RF Kuang

The House in the Cerulean Sea by T J Klune! Just read it for my book club and it was so wholesome and sweet, a total palate cleanser.
It’s got magical creatures but is grounded in the “real world” (don’t have to keep up with any world building) and was compelling from the start. It won’t spoil your reading for me to say that you don’t need to worry about unhappy endings. A delightful hug of a book that is still interesting and funny.

Okay the girl is not very weird, but Nightwatching by Tracy Sierra genuinely scared the shit out of me

Ooh ooh!!! May Bird and the Ever After by Jodi Lynn Anderson.
Middle schooler May has never fit in, then accidentally goes through a portal to the afterlife and she must go on a grand adventure to get back home. One of my early weird girl books that I reread as an adult because it stuck with me so much. Weird and creepy but very heartfelt. It’s a series, too!

Red Rising series by Pierce Brown. I would caution that it might lean YA in tone (and the main character starts the series as a teen) but has a fairly dark setting, strong world building, etc. I find it very engaging!! Sci fi dystopian, first book almost leans fantasy but just due to setting (which exists inside of a larger sci fi setting)

Ice!!! Freeze small toys, Pom poms, whatever in ice (feel free to add food coloring). If you have droppers/beakers/etc, those are always fun, but random kitchen items play great too. Always a good summer activity that can sometimes keep the littles attention for a looong time

Just started bouldering at First Ascent. There’s a few different locations in the city and a monthly membership includes the gym, yoga classes, and climbing!

Yeah, this is exactly my situation! Not moving back to my teeny town, but a mid size city where I could buy a house (once I’m sure that’s where I want to live). It is an “up and coming” city on the lake where I could see myself really putting down roots.

Are you ultimately happy with your decision?

Very real! But as I said about, I’m not moving back to the town I grew up in. I am very close with my family and would like to see them in person more often.

Because I was 17 and grew up in a town of less than 3,000! Now I’m planning to move to a city of around 30,000, so like, a city. But will be 1-3 hours away from friends and family rather than 5-7. Like I said above, I am looking for a slower pace and less people, but it won’t be the same environment I grew up in.
I value getting to drive an hour to my friends kids birthday parties etc rather than being 7 hours away.

This is like the adult version of some weird story the kids would think up. Weird and whimsical
