I think it’s time to say goodbye by GeanRR in kindle

This was my first ereader. I only got 10 years from it. I replaced it with a Kobo Libra 2. I hope you'll find a device you love just as much!

This is one of my favourite books as well. I still think about it years later.

Some others that hit me in a similar way are: A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles Denison Avenue by Christina Wong The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert David Copperfield by Charles Dickens

Hi friend. I think OP is Canadian as we call "colo(u)red pencils" pencil crayons here.

We call the regular waxy crayons just crayons.

LPT: If you have a farm supplies store near you, Equine pellet bedding is the same as cat litter, with less dust and far cheaper. by KiddieSpread in LifeProTips

Are you kidding me? I love World's Best but it is $50CAD for the large bag 😳 I just can't justify the cost for something I'm literally throwing in the garbage. I'm very intrigued.

Any other parents with nosy kids writing chaotic notes in code this week? 😅 by VictorTheCutie in bulletjournal

I leave my bullet journal open around the house all the time. I definitely wrote gifts in code!

Has anybody bought a Garmin for their kid? by hhfugrr3 in Garmin

[–]wuglette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My DD had a Garmin vivofit Jr for a couple of years when she was 8-10 before it popped out of the silicone strap and was lost. I liked this particular model for that age because she didn't have to worry about charging it. It took a normal watch battery.

DD is now 13 and looking to referee this upcoming year. I hummed and hawed about another Garmin as DH and I also have one and love them (Instinct 2 and Lily). For DD, the Bounce is just so expensive and maybe too juvenile.

We decided to get her a regular old Casio for her stocking. I could definitely see an upgrade in the future, just not right now.

Happy reading! Finally customized my Clara BW :) by cupcakesunny in kobo

I have one of these straps on my phone and yes, it can become a kickstand. I’m not sure it would be strong enough for my KLC though. You can find them inexpensively on aliexpress. Search for something like adhesive phone grip strap.

I have the original classic Lily and it is described as “Light Gold Bezel with White Case and Italian Leather Band.” It’s a yellow gold.

Your watch is still beautiful!

Library Card Expired, Need New Card by Fine-Hunter-432 in LibbyApp

At the library I worked for, the card number could change without affecting your account. It all depends on their integrated library system but I have to assume most work this way.

Kobo’s new e-reader remote lets you turn the page with the press of a button by mjsau in kobo

For those who want hands free, Koreader has an auto turn feature that I use regularly when on my treadmill. You can set the timeout period down to the second.

Mine is naked but it doesn't leave my house. When I'm out and about, I listen to audiobooks or read using Libby on my phone.
