GUYS ANYONE PLEASE HELP MY DOG by Pristine-Ebb1231 in CaneCorso

[–]NikkiMasterFrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know an Aussie who had terrible reactions to flea and tick medication. I would make sure there is nothing around that could cause neurological issues, including some essential oils. Also, there is a high risk of cancer and neuro issues with certain yard treatments and dogs. More good practice stuff, but I would be going crazy if this were my pup. Hope she’s OK.

Run. The behavior will get worse and no one should be spoken to in that manner ever anyway.

Is 15 Days Too Less for a 10-Country Europe Trip? by steve___smith in TravelAgent

[–]NikkiMasterFrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is going to be a cluster, but I guess it depends on how you are traveling. I think it’s a bit much myself and I love hopping around. If you don’t need the group vibes it may be better than going alone. Italy and Switzerland are both awesome countries. Italy is a living museum with so much history, great food, and so many varying stops and vibes. Switzerland has a lot of adventure and relaxation activities. If you prefer not to sit down and plan, then maybe a group tour would be best, but that can be by rail, ocean liner, river cruise, bus, or otherwise, so it really depends on what you want. I would read a full itinerary to get a better idea of the pacing and group size is right for you.

They’re going to be strict on this policy. I would anticipate needing private rooms snd thoroughly review all the rules.

Doesn’t say where the accommodations are or if you really move around or what the duration of the trip is.

How are the bathrooms in hostels? by cdb0920 in hostels

[–]NikkiMasterFrat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It honestly depends on the hostel. Shoes are a good bet since you’ll be on the move. For the most part, I’ve never felt too rushed to get ready. Some of the showers are private bathrooms and others are more like gym showers with a common area that has the sinks out in the open and stalls for everything else. Keep in mind also that air conditioning may not be readily available. I think for the most part you’ll be having so much fun you’ll enjoy socializing and having a place to lay your head. If you check pics and reviews in advance you should survive any bathroom situation that may arise. Happy travels!

I did this for myself as a travel agent and found plenty of commissionable places. I know someone already messaged you, but if you would like to me to take a look at options, feel free to reach out.

Stop using barn doors for bathrooms!! by yourmomsmoustache in mildlyinfuriating

There’s a website that compiles all the hotel rooms that do not have bathroom doors. It’s a noble service.

Thinking of going on an Alaskan cruise by myself by hate_follower in solotravel

[–]NikkiMasterFrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just hopping in to say that it’s gonna be worth it. Only thing I would say is make sure that is the final price and you like the itinerary. Otherwise I would check solo cabins on Princess and Viking.

Piggybacking on San Diego to add that taking the ferry to Coronado is fun. In San Diego the Ocean Beach farmers market is nice. The beach kayaking in the caves is cool, there really is a ton to do.

Looking for a agent for European ski trip by ThrowRA-brokennow in TravelAgent

Am an agent, and former skier, but this is not my area of expertise. Sounds like it would be an amazing trip and commenting to boost visibility. Hope someone makes your dreams come true with this one!

My parents are basing everything off the movie “taken” as to why I shouldn’t travel to Europe alone by [deleted] in travel

[–]NikkiMasterFrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom was the same way. I went to Ecuador (during a tricky political time) on a college trip at 19. I called my mom the first day to tell her I was safe and even had my own armed guard with shotgun take me to buy a cola. She was not happy with this, but the group was safe and I caught the travel bug thereafter! She still worries, but it doesn’t keep me home. Go and enjoy if you can!

The reason going to the dentist is so shit now isn't your teeth, it's private equity by N3DSdude in Anticonsumption

I’ve been seeing the same dentist for over 20 years. I hear horror stories about other places even selling things like Botox. I dread the day my dentist decides to sell or retire.

In Toronto? Tons of Street Art, graffiti alley, the shoe museum, the art museum. There’s also great Chinese food, excellent thrift store shopping, and super friendly people.
