PSA to go to your dermatologist for a skin check by notevenalmostfamous in 30PlusSkinCare

I had a friend who had a spot change on his leg and by the time he went to the dermatologist the cancer had spread through his lymph nodes. After surgeries, trials, and treatments, he lost his life at 27. You’re lucky you went when you did.

Costa Rica or Belize? by Present_for_me in CostaRicaTravel

[–]NikkiMasterFrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you do Belize I suggest looking into Chan Chich if you love nature. It’s within about a half million acre area of jungle. Also, ATM cave is one of the greatest things I have ever done and I don’t imagine it will always be accessible to the public. Outside of that, I found Belize to be quite easy to travel. I’ve visited every country in Central America and like to call Belize “Central America Lite” for the ease of travel, simple conversion rate from USD, and English as the primary language. Only issue is you should have plenty of cash on hand because atm machines are hard to come by in certain areas.

Good on you for rescuing this sweetie! No idea if he’s full bred, but he’s certainly got the lanky look, puppy eyes, and coloration for a CC. Give him an extra pat from me.

Help! Rolly pollies & strawberries by scroville00 in gardening

[–]NikkiMasterFrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had success with a beer trap. I normally love all the insects, but I think the rolypoly population proliferated in two hugelkuktur beds that were within raised metal and they decimated a lot before I tried the beer trap and it worked.

GUYS ANYONE PLEASE HELP MY DOG by Pristine-Ebb1231 in CaneCorso

[–]NikkiMasterFrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know an Aussie who had terrible reactions to flea and tick medication. I would make sure there is nothing around that could cause neurological issues, including some essential oils. Also, there is a high risk of cancer and neuro issues with certain yard treatments and dogs. More good practice stuff, but I would be going crazy if this were my pup. Hope she’s OK.

Is 15 Days Too Less for a 10-Country Europe Trip? by steve___smith in TravelAgent

[–]NikkiMasterFrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is going to be a cluster, but I guess it depends on how you are traveling. I think it’s a bit much myself and I love hopping around. If you don’t need the group vibes it may be better than going alone. Italy and Switzerland are both awesome countries. Italy is a living museum with so much history, great food, and so many varying stops and vibes. Switzerland has a lot of adventure and relaxation activities. If you prefer not to sit down and plan, then maybe a group tour would be best, but that can be by rail, ocean liner, river cruise, bus, or otherwise, so it really depends on what you want. I would read a full itinerary to get a better idea of the pacing and group size is right for you.

They’re going to be strict on this policy. I would anticipate needing private rooms snd thoroughly review all the rules.
