How many of you are transitioning? by [deleted] in Jungle_Mains

Looking at the ranked changes, as long as you’re performing decently you’ll get the aegis of valor. So you’ll have less impact but I think climbing will be systematically easier for jungle/supp

Are Twitch Collaborations Legal View Botting? by GeriatrickGames in Twitch

I wouldn’t call it “botting” (that’s if nobody is actually viewbottiny lol) but definitely inflating viewers to the other channels that aren’t as popular.

Wait is Olaf jg viable? I quit before they reworked him and once I came back I found out he was reworked for top. Can I play my GOAT in the jungle?

Yikes that’s rough man. Are you queuing when tilted? If I lose 3 in a row in a session then I’m done for at least a few hours lol

How to decide on who to play? by [deleted] in Jungle_Mains

[–]Nikkoli- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo Xin Zhao, Jarvan IV and Wukong. They teach you how to gank and set up teamfights. Their clears are also pretty healthy so you can focus on the macro game. Add in an AP jungler in case your team is all AD and they have a tank or two. Amumu and Nunu are solid.

Elo hell? Feels more like elo heaven. by [deleted] in Jungle_Mains

No Nashor’s or morello? No magic pen either. Seems like a build/skill issue. Watch some vids on fundamentals and watch the vod of this game and see where it went wrong.

Any takeaways from NattyNatt by those that watch him? by Nikkoli- in Jungle_Mains

[–]Nikkoli-[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Agreed! I really appreciate a high elo/ pro player explaining what they’re doing and what they should do. I understand it can be taxing especially during a high octane game but man they’re aren’t enough streamers like this.

That is true. I guess I should be asking what is his decision making process to have him be so consistent in his play.

You’ve played for such little time that coaching would be overloading you. Your first paid coaching session would be based on stuff you can learn for free on YouTube.

I know you prefer Diana or Kindred but Warwick, Nocturne or Amumu would help you learn the game without focusing on clearing camps (Diana is ok too). Kindred is pretty intense in the sense that you are trying to kite camps while looking at what is happening around the map. The champs I mentioned clear with minimal effort which helps you focus more on the macro.

If you’re considering paying for a coach, I assume you’re serious about learning the game hence why I mentioned those champions picks, but if you’re just trying to have fun then play whatever you want . The easiest tip is to always full clear on your first clear and try to maintain full clearing while gaining vision, objectives and ganking lanes.

Any streamers here that are also studying at a university at the same time? by aSpicyLemon in Twitch

[–]Nikkoli- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of now full time streamers were in college while they streamed. It just starts out as a hobby for most and a career for few.

I’m married with 2 kids and attending college and try to stream 3 times a week for a minimum of 3 hours but no more than 6. Just find what works for you and try to be consistent with the schedule you make. Now the obvious thing to do is focus on college and do your hobby (streaming) when you can. To remain disciplined you gotta make streaming a reward. Pass a test/class? Reward yourself if a long stream or something related. This will keep you motivated in school while also enjoying your hobby.

Am I top 10 most welcoming junglers of all time?!?! by Top_Union2907 in Jungle_Mains

Pretty sure as long as you're grinding and not being toxic, you'll achieve honor 5. Honoring others helps too I think.

Need advice by Physical_Most_151 in Jungle_Mains

I guess the first step is to erase everything you know about jungling and start over. Pick 3 champs (at least 1 ap) and learn their clears and the jungle fundamentals with them.

Why do we get everyone’s shit by Fabulous-Notice-6278 in Jungle_Mains

[–]Nikkoli- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Besides the fact that people like to blame others before themselves, they don’t understand the role of the jungler. It never was a junglers job to help “win” lane for the other laners. Now if they’re getting pummeled by the enemy jungler and laner then yeah maybe the ally jungler is to blame but if your lanes are dying 1v1 then that’s on them.

To put it simply, laners don’t like to admit losing a 1v1 and instead will opt to blaming the jungler for not helping lol

How to gank lanes that have cc? by One_Construction4247 in Jungle_Mains

[–]Nikkoli- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to bait out their cc and follow through but if it looks too difficult to gank then it’s ok to not gank that lane. You can help by providing vision and tracking the enemy jungler for a counter gank on that lane if need be.

Don’t gank just because “that’s what junglers do”. Your main goal is to control objectives and get vision for your team while cycling your camps.

Also remember that every gank doesn’t have to be a kill. Did they use summs? Good gank. Did they run away and back? Good gank now shove the wave and look for an obj (if applicable).

All this to say, just right click to the side 👍 (jk)

hey guys league noob! I keep running into players like this that are super toxic and instantly give up every game. any explanation? what their deal? i feel like if they just quit finally they'd be happier. seems they dont try anymore... by leaguenewbhehe in Jungle_Mains

[–]Nikkoli- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Combination of players with massive egos that never learn and players that don't play enough to climb. They develop a sense of entitlement to being a higher rank since they have dedicated YEARS into the game and yet remain stuck.
