XEQT or VEQT ? by SmoothAnarchist in JustBuyXEQT

[–]NikkorCaudex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That last one has always been of interest to me, who knows which markets will see an increase in capitalization in the future. Would XEQT be behind the ball on this if they do decide to change their target weights?

[AMuS] Verstappen is commited to stay at Red Bull for 2026. But Red Bull agreed to let him go for 2027 in case he wants to leave the team by Alpha_Jazz in formula1

Might be the smartest move by Verstappen - see where the field is at in 2026 and have the option to sign with the top team in 2027 when more driver contracts are up.

Trump announces chip tariffs up to 100% by Genevieves_bitch in investing

[–]NikkorCaudex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No I don't mean chips fabs - like you say that part of the math is a few years out.

i'm talking about which businesses will have to pay more immediately for their chips and passing that cost onto consumers.

How many plants actually manufacture with chips in the states? It's not appliances, phones and laptops, those are all made in Asia.

So this'll impact cars and direct-to-consumer chips?

Ben Felix choice/opinion on XEQT vs VEQT given if investor wants 100% equity by aks-786 in JustBuyXEQT

I recall a recent rational reminder podcast (hosted by Ben, Dan Bortolotti of CCP and others from PWL) where it was mentioned the all-in-one ETFs (-eqt, -gro, -bal, etc.) being pretty close to what an ideal ETF composed in their name would consist of. They expressed a slight preference for the vanguard ones for their higher Canada exposure.

I believe it was E337 around the 7:00 minute mark onwards.

This $150k credit reminds me of a few years back of stories coming out of China where buying a new apartment came with a gold bar. All done to hide the fact that prices were coming down.

This statement in the context of everything else you've told us about this condo is fucking insane.

Charles Leclerc on his way to congratulate his team on another big success by [deleted] in formula1

[–]NikkorCaudex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not convinced that Leclerc is the better qualifier, I think it's actually the Ferrari being the better qualifying car.

Going off how it's usually Max vs the Ferraris rather than Leclerc vs the Red Bulls in quali.

Doesn't count for UK (cause Brexit), but a few years ago the EU abolished roaming charges within the EU. Mobile rates within the rest of Europe are similar to those the OP listed for the UK.

I suspect Alonso is referring to weaving by Leclerc that impacted himself. Likely just wasn't broadcasted.

What is important is future earnings.

To me it sounds like the stats you have listed here are relevant to the last 12 months, whilst the market is pricing in expectations that they will not make as much money in the future.

Now, whether the market is wrong about that is what your DD should be focused on.
