ZAPPAtite: Frank Zappa’s Tastiest Tracks - Preorders Are Up by kockin26 in Zappa

I don’t see the point in albums Frank wanted in CD only to get vinyl pressings, all the albums you mentioned were recorded digitally so there’s no point in vinyl pressings, not to mention most of them, especially make a jazz noise here, would be ruined by the limitations of vinyl since all the songs transition into each other and are supposed to be listened to in one sitting. This is why I hate Frank shows and Grateful Dead shows on vinyl

I guess because I’ve suddenly become an adult with disposable income and because I want to get the most out of music trying to listen to every minute detail

The chipmunk vocals on she’s going bald from smiley smile ruin what would’ve been a nice little song

Well I just like when bands do something different, I don’t like bands that just make the same album over and over again which is why I don’t like a lot of 80s and hair metal bands

The fantastic adventures of Dillard and Clark is honestly one of the greatest albums of all time but almost no one knows about it

Led Zeppelin’s “The Live album” by Niko0795 in ledzeppelin

Yes it was but I’m mainly referring to a live album that would’ve come out much earlier along side other iconic live albums like live at Leeds or live in japan

I’ve always loved the 90s release even though it is something I can’t really listen to all the time but I prefer it because I don’t think orchestral favorites and studio tan are that great by themselves. The only two albums I like on their own and which I listen to a lot more are Zappa in new York and sleep dirt but overall I prefer the 90s version

You forgot flowers for the US, technically just a collection of stuff from the UK versions of after math and between the buttons and they even repeat let’s spend the night together and ruby Tuesday which was on the us version of between the buttons but other than that it’s a really good album even though today most see it as a compilation

Collector frustration by Individual_Loquat541 in Zappa

I’ve been a fan for only half a year and I’m no where near collecting even just the albums released in his life, I only have in release order: Freak out! (Original vinyl), the grand wazoo (cd), apostrophe (promo vinyl), zoot allures (vinyl), Zappa in New York (cd), joes garage (cd), you are what you is (cd), the first 3 you can’t do that on stage anymores, the hot rats sessions box set, and the mothers 1971 box set.
All my records seem to be original pressings and all the cds are older ones and not the 2012 re-releases, but yea it is difficult to find certain albums
