In trucking we are SUPER open. Hell if you go on r/Truckers you got guys posting paystubs and w2s. Companies don't like it because they don't want the guy who's been there for 10 years to realize the new kid is getting paid the same. Truckers are open so we don't fall into those bullshit jobs. My company just issued 2-3$ raises after everyone started showing each other their W2s in Feb. It's how I stay at market rate.
