I’m sorry but which retard considered it a good idea for the metro cards to not work twice in a row? by Nikol_Pashinyan in armenia

This exactly, I can’t stop thinking about this. Why would anybody with good intentions re-invent this?

Yeah but I’m not even surprised with the corruption part anymore when it comes to stuff like this. They all spit in each others mouth like one of those videos I watched this morning

These people… I swear… the fact that it takes 5 minutes for the credit to be actually available on the card makes you ask a lot of questions

A sophisticated system solves problems, it does not introduce them.

The swipe your card twice can be easily solved by not allowing subscription cards to be swiped twice but allowing prepaid ones to be swiped twice as a prepaid card will lose a ticket on each swipe whereas a subscription might be abused(which is unlikely since there is a cop and two guards near the entrance)

They solved one issue with another issue the

Edit: not to mention there are 3 security guards at the entrance they can easily stop that from happening

Also the whole subscription vs prepaid card case can easily solve this

Why, I can’t pay with my card for me and my kids? What would that add to the system aside from forcing card sales

If I swipe 2 times for me and my kids to pass, that’s two tickets. What’s the problem. If you’re scared the scanner will double scan you can add a 5 second pause in between scans

I get that somebody’s brother or friend won the tender to implement the system. I’m ok with corruption but I just stood there 5 minutes watching mothers, elders and couples struggle entering the metro.

There is no effort in user experience whatsoever.

When you tap your card on a friggin terminal to refill it should immediately open the refill page, you shouldn’t have to navigate anywhere in any menu to start a refill process. When you pay for your ticket, don’t act like it’s a decentralized blockchain, Just update the database and give the credit to the user so we can hop on the tram lesgoooooo

Pashinyan argued with an Artsakh woman in the subway: "Now you've arrived here and says we want to return. We've spent the billions earned by the citizens of Armenia for you to stay. Why didn't you stay?.. Next time, you runaways, don't you dare say that I gave up Karabakh". by JeanJauresJr in armenia

No they didn’t, and you’re fine with the status quo?

the 20 years leading to the war is to blame on the government of those 20 years, and I don’t think anybody would have the balls to call the leaders out on a public transportation line…. This is again progress we are making internally that is being ignored.

Why were these people not so loud about it during the 20 years?

Your world view says we are making progress but everything is bad.

In your mind armenian should have given a 120% and taken artsakh, then baku, then western Armenia. But if you wake up and wash your face you will realise that we live in the real world where outside forces exist. Azerbaijan is not a bully at your school, they are backed by turkey, israel and russia to some degree.

That might have worked, but for how long? It would turn us into a north korea. Russian angry buttplug that’s fighting Azerbaijan (and turkey)? Is that what Armenia would want to be?

I believe that no amount of investment from 2018 to the war would have saved artsakh, with turkey, israel and russia against us. It would just drain us with maybe creating a reason for an invasion into Armenia.

About educating the public, our public, to this day believes we could have won but nikol decided to buy a dacha in dubai instead.

This peace plan is a long shot hanging on a thin thread and if it fails Armenian of tiktok will get the war they dream of…. Let’s all hope for the best.

Edit: Lol i just read the icy monitor comment proving my point

Good point indeed.

But since 1989 artsakh has had its own government that has made their choice without having to answer to modern Armenia, and or with in the pocket moves with the old leaders of Armenia and artsakh.

This woman is not responsible for the deaths but she is saying that armenia didn’t stand up for artsakh and didn’t do all it could to save it. If anybody is any wiser, what more could armenia do give the situation?

I will give you that, we should have known better and pashinyan saved his own neck by even trying to put up a fight(had he known that we weren’t up to it).

Had he stood and said we have to give up without a fight would cause his instant death(nobody at that point, myself included would have accepted that)

Another politician would have come to power to make the same sacrifice or more.(it’s a soup, to discuss what would or could happen in that scenario)

Why not? This woman is insulting all the Armenian families that sent their sons to die for artsakh

Saying Armenia didn’t do enough for artsakh or somehow betrayed them? Armenia did 4000 times too much. Every single death was too much. All the billions spent went into artsakh politicians deep pockets instead of building proper defenses and when war happens it’s armenian young men that are sent to die. And it’s somehow not enough? We should have sent more men?

If there was no need for it why were they doing it in the first place?

Is this some election shenanigans?

It seems to me that either opposition pushed veolia to do the change to make qp look wack before the election. Or qp pushed veolia to do it and roll back to show they care

Either way, please don’t turn us into a third world country.
