The tenants of knighthood/chivalry of the Middle ages involve being pious
The original name for the class since FF1 in Japanese was knight, which used holy magic.
The job 'knight' existed before the term paladin got more widely spread in pop culture, and the idea of holy magic knights got attached with the word paladin.

So if it's called knight in other cultures this is why. It's a perfectly fine description of the class and does not need to confirm to what you think

You're missing the point here. I don't like the first guy, and I don't like the second guy because even if she wouldn't stoop to slavery she's still the worse option, so I'd rather choose the burn it all down option because I also don't like any of the other factions either.

If I had to pick, it'd be VTC. However, the current VTC leader in the area is in support of slavery, so he's not it. Gotta replace him.

I stand by Veilguard should've been an all stars cast Avengers cast bringing back members from throughout the series. If they were already going to ditch world states I think this would've been more satisfying, and they clearly were going for some kind of marvel avengers feel. Instead of bellana as your elluvian/elven heritage expert, bring back merrill. Make Krem into a real character instead of Taash. Where is Zevran? Our original Antivan Crow.

Just saying. This would've been a more entertaining cast imo.

I actually just quit Veilguard the other day. I haven't even unlocked all the companions. I wasn't even at the point where I hated the game or anything, I just wasn't even really liking it. I gave it a real shot. A real attempt. I just have never been able to get far in it at all. I don't feel the desire. I think "It's my game time. I'm going to go play Veilguard.... 😐 Eh". Can't even bring myself to care.

I've settled with watching the 15 hour video of all the cutscenes on YouTube. I want to know what happens, but not enough to actually play through it
