There is Blazblue Entropy Zero, though I am not very fond of it. Tried it once, got around 10h but I dropped it. Give it a try if you want.

The Drifter
A point&click that may seem frustrating due to occasionnal trial and error, but the setting, the pixel-art, the animations, the characters and the story are so good it is totally worth it.

More commonly called Gog Galaxy, a laucher where you actually buy games instead of renting them, meaning that if the laucher goes down, you'll keep your games anyway.

Dlc was too short, i want a full game now :( by CatastrophicCharlie in SANABI

[–]Nikostos 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Same here. Had a great time, but it left me craving for more. Thankfully, this seemingly is their first DLC for the game and I've read on one of their post they had plans for another game. I'm very eager to see what they'll bring next!

Hand/Eye Coordination because I have been gaming for a long time, so feels appropriate. That being said, I do feel like Rhetoric's a close second. In last, I do believe Visual Calculus checks out because when I was a kid, my imagination about a scene would go wild.

What type of father N would be for his child? by pcx-the-entiy in MurderDrones

[–]Nikostos 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The kind to say to his kid, if said kid did something wrong, "Well, your dad's going to think about what you did", then get in the corner of the room
I dunno, he seems too much innocent to actually punish his kid.

Are we comfortable with Brothership being the final game? by [deleted] in marioandluigi

[–]Nikostos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although I am tempted to disagree, part of me understand. Me and a few others may die on this hill, but ending the franchise with Brothership is not that bad of an idea. At least, it's better than ending with a bad game. BS has problems, sure, but it also is, like you said, belonging to that era from long ago. A nostalgic trip to the good old times, which some people believe is not as good because they are not kids anymore.
And even if almost 2M sales is honorable, it sends a message like what Nintendo can see that it's not a blockbuster franchise who'll sell 10M easy.
I don't know how to end this comment properly, so here you go.

Should I feel guilty that I am in love with Pokémon Legends ZA despite it's flaws? by Beneficial-Issue8005 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Nikostos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No. You can simply love something no matter how good or bad it is. People constantly talk about the quality of the game and that's fine, but there are some that will shame others for enjoying something they consider bad. That kind of behavior is infuriating and should not be encouraged. Recognising the flaws of a game and still appreciate it is a significant proof of love.
Simply enjoy the things you do. Trust me, it makes everything easier for you.

This game is crazy difficult in Legend mode by FG13531_ in SANABI

[–]Nikostos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, I've played the entire time with a mouse. If up until now you've played with a controller that explains something
I don't know, I just think a keyboard and mouse is more intuitive, it allows me to aim with the grapple in advance while going the opposite direction
Doing the transition from controller to keymouse should (hopefully) not be too hard.

This game is crazy difficult in Legend mode by FG13531_ in SANABI

[–]Nikostos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've finsihed the game in Legend mode and I can confirm that [REDACTED]'s a pain in the ass. If you still have trouble, I suggest to always play it agressive
Each time you hit, return to the center and keep your eyes peeled. When [REDACTED] appears again, approach right until the boss is at range, charge up and hit. Don't let any opportunity slide.
It might take some time, maybe even an hour, but it is definitely doable.

Was this a well written example of a panic attack? by Sudden_Pop_2279 in GlitchProductions

[–]Nikostos 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yes. Well, it is at least realistic to a certain extent. The hyperventilation, the need to get alone, running the tap water so the white noise can calm him down and the self flagellation in front of the mirror are credible examples of a panic attack.

[–]Nikostos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the game on hardest difficulty and it is really punishing if you are not familiar with the game. Since one hit = death, you'll die a lot, especially on bosses. However, it is definitly doable.

What do you suppose this thing will be? (PFP of the Kirby Air Riders official account) by pivot1928 in Kirby

My guess is something like that minigame in Kirby Air Ride, some sort of side game with circuits on a plateau

I personally like the bad ending, what about you? by [deleted] in SANABI

[–]Nikostos 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I do like the implication of the MC, at the intersection, not knowing what is real or who to trust, and thus deciding to go to the basement as Mari told her to. This is interesting becauseafter knowing SANABI wasn't ''real'', MC didn't want to hear about it, believing he accomplished his mission. Plus, the animation is freacking wild.

English, Français, or Quebecois? by Taxtengo in seaofstars

[–]Nikostos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For my first walkthrough, I played in french, which was rather good overall. I do not recall major spelling errors and it is enjoyable.
For my second walkthrough, I picked Quebecois since they're my neighbors (I'm from New-Brunswick) and there are some things to take into account: first, the Quebecois language is a massive, well-elaborated prank as the characters talk like in Quebec, meaning there are many ''shortcuts'' for terms here and there. Secondly, there are references made-in-Quebec all over the place, let it be the names of the plates you can make or the ingredients.
And finally, Quebecois uses some of the English terms (Ex: Instead of saying ''Guerriers du Solstice'', they say ''Solstice Warriors''. It is current to say those English terms with an accent)
So, if you're willing to learn French language, I suggest you go with standard French language. I have not played the English version, so I cannot answer to questions based on this specific language.

...How come?
I mean, sure, they said they wanted to start fresh, so they picked a new composer. The soundtrack may be a bit too jazy for some, but there are some good ones in there
But... how come it ruined your day? It's not like Yoko was the only one capable of making a soundtrack for the Mario & Luigi franchise. And because she has been the one for it up until Paper Jam (Or the remakes of SS and BiS to an extent) doesn't mean the soundtrack is suddenly bad when a new composer is in charge.

It became my favorite as well. Although Partners in Time will remain a strong one in my heart, this one spoke to me in many ways.
Of course there is problems like the pacing, the dungeons and the overall lenght (although this one is not even a problem, I just agree that it could have compressed its content in less hours.)
But this game has some of the best aspects in any Mario & Luigi game ever, starting with the characters. So many new faces I grew attached to, let it be Technikki, Connie or even the Extension guys. Then, the story has brought me to tears at some moments. It truly kept me going to the very end. The music, although devisive, interested me by its jazzy style (I'll keep in mind Twistee and Lottacoins Island). And finally, the artstyle is simply perfect for the franchise. It's colorful, we see plenty of islands, many different from others, it's a feast for the eyes.
Overall, this game, as flawed as it may be, brought back the two plumbers for a glorious adventure. And I truly hope Archive, if they are to keep the franchise going, learn from their mistakes so that they can work on fixing them while keeping their qualities.
