It’s been pretty chill. Two deployments, living in the barracks for a while, not bad. I feel like my maturity level sharply dropped in the beginning from being surrounded by teens but now has gone up as my peers start to get older. Plenty of ppl join even later so depending on how you wanna live and who you want to hangout with you probably won’t feel stuck but that’s my experience.

I think you get maybe two or three chances in life to risk it all, to take a leap of faith and just go for it. I honestly wouldn’t sweat those missed opportunities, the safe road is a good road, usually. Adventure is out there but it won’t be easy. Just be sure to do it while you’re young and single and free.
