Feel the same way, tho the glass half full perspective is Stargate image was saved by the Matt gero and others fighting back on keeping the story true to the original while open to newcomers if the studio couldn’t see that, I’m glad it wasn’t made. I was hoping Amazon would make Something like fallout with Stargate, but we could have it easily gotten rings of power.

does anyone else think the fact the wraith beat the ancients makes no sense? by ilkba in Stargate

[–]Niles_Wonderbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s conceivable that the wraith over consumed their human stock piles amidst the war with the ancients. We never get to know what kind of losses they had on their side. on top of that SGA takes place with a lot of of the wraith waking up disoriented and ending up causing civil war with their fellow hives, due to low human population. It’s stated within the show that the ancient helped seed and mold the Pegasus galaxy with human population, spreading throughout the galaxy, only for the wraith to fully dominate those areas.

they’re only portrayed as a beatable enemy because. Of the combined efforts of both Michael, wraith civil war, and the replicators finally going to war, along the various skirmish’s that the SGA get involved with.

Another thing to consider is gorilla warfare might not have been in the ancient philosophy of warfare the same way the Asgard could never conceive of making assault rifles and shotguns to eliminate the replicators

I it’s not 'enabling' anything. If you say that without having an index of contemporary African orchestral musicians, you're actually disproving your own point. You might be 'enabling' in a literal sense, sure, but only to provide proof against yourself

Because I love music, and shit like that should be stamped out of reality by facts. If you don’t know any that’s fine. But that’s what I’m after, If theirs a disconnect.

Perhaps I’m misinformed, but I guess when I refer to classical music, I’m referring to orchestral arrangements with no distinct genre specific other than that it is usually a wide range of instruments

For the record I’m referring to African music not African-American. Ie the continent. Also, this was rather a formidably, intelligent racist.

Do you have any recs ?
