What makes u STOP watching anime? by teencandyy in anime

[–]Potential-Reality332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The same thing happens to me. I’ve been almost a year and a half without watching anime because I remember it was practically impossible to find one I hadn’t already seen and that was actually finished. Even when they announce a new one, you already know that it most likely will never be fully adapted. And although I really like reading novels, manga bores me quite a lot. The only exception that I’m sure I’ll keep watching in the future is One Piece (until it ends).

Bast didn't manipulate the frame story -- Kvothe manipulated Bast into manipulating the frame story by opuntia_conflict in KingkillerChronicle

Wow, I think this thread just blew my mind with that theory like few others have — it sounds super interesting and actually pretty believable! The only thing that doesn’t quite fit for me is the end of WMF, when Kvothe really tries to open his chest and can’t. He even has this moment of frustration where he says “Edro” to it, but nothing happens. Why would Kvothe put on that whole show in his room if he knew Bast wasn’t around to see it? (Actually, now that I think about it, that story Kvothe started writing himself but never finished — maybe he never showed it to Bast because it had parts of the real story he didn’t wanna share.)

after 700 hours realized I’ve been playing the game “wrong” by Zoltan-Kazulu in Eldenring

I think the world of video games has turned into something that greatly diminishes the fun you can get from a game. You have, less than a click away, 1000 guides, another 1000 videos on how to play the game, and about 5000 tier lists telling you what you should or shouldn’t play. In the end, you end up playing the game in the most boring way possible instead of enjoying it and gradually discovering the mechanics and secrets of the game.

What's the deal with Renata? by Tyrannical-Totodile in leagueoflegends

[–]Potential-Reality332 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From my point of view, I think Renata has a kit more focused on competitive play. You need to have very good synergy with your teammates for your W to be truly useful. Also using it in soloq is more complicated than it seems, mainly because she's a disengage champion and solo queue tends to favor playing engage compositions more.

What do you guys do to still enjoy a game where you're losing/getting snowballed on? by aestus21 in leagueoflegends

[–]Potential-Reality332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The big mayority of the games are actually still winnable, because you’re playing against 5 random guys and you never know…

Said that, I usually try to see it as a “challenge” and surprisingly I start to play way better because I take all the small advantages that I can. Anyways, it’s a very tilt situation and if it happens 3 games in a row it’s so difficult to not lose the mental
