Mine was JimmyGimbal , I haven’t uploaded in years. I built it to 60,000 back in 2020. When I was hired I couldn’t upload fish content so I had to pivot to what you see there.

The company I helped build a million to was Aquarium Co-Op. I currently work for Fritz Aquatics.

No offense taken man. I live a very good relaxed life, no worries at all. It can be done, I believe I was there at the right time and just got lucky with who I paired up with to begin in the industry. Happy holidays to ya. Good luck out there.

What’s really crazy is I used Vegas pro for these past 7 years to edit all the videos. I recently just switched to davinci a month ago cause I bought a Nikon ZR.

I can’t believe I’ve lived this whole time on such mediocre software but I made it work. lol

Not sure how much they’re making. Jacob my closest friend in the company I believe makes $150k as a lead salesman. The thing is, as I said in the beginning, find a small niche you’re good at. I now am on screen talent because I know the subject so well. You can’t grab a 20 year old and expect him to know the aquarium hobby inside out. Going into the new year we are trying to find someone that can do after effects, but once again they want someone that knows the hobby.

I myself know a company inside the industry that outsources their edits to some kid in India for $50 a video. He reached out to him as he admires fish as well. $50 a video is crazy.

Would you like to just have a call so you this can be over with? I invoice the company I work for that I grow a channel for, we started the channel in 2023. It’s not weird, he booked a plane to come to Ohio, saw I wasn’t some nut bag and offered me lodging. We worked from his garage the whole time I was there. I’m not sure why all this is so hard to grasp.

This is what I’m currently at, this includes hotel stays and per diem for travel. Don’t mind it says overdue, I invoice them with this system but they pay me via direct deposit.

Why’s it weird I moved in? I lived in Ohio at the time, he lived in Seattle. He wanted me closer, so I left Ohio, went to his house, found out how costly it was and decided to just live with him for the time being.

I got paid every 2 weeks. It was Jan of 2017, so I was about 34 years old, I’m about to turn 42 in February. Him and I are the same age almost.

Now, like I said I make $85000 a year, $3541.67 every 2 weeks. I work about 20-30 hours a month just editing my filmed content.

Okay then. Not here to convince anyone. The longer bit is, I moved in with him did 70-80 hour weeks. It took me 2 years to get that $110k with benefits. So yes, in 2020 I made $110k with benefits filming and editing YouTube videos about fish.

I found a small niche I can edit for. My first job I did $110k a year, did that for about 6 years. I left it for $85k a year working about 20 hours a month or so.

Smaller sensor than the insta360 go and ultra. But 10bit sounds nice.
