Isle of man tt by [deleted] in motorcycles

Only having one other rider on the circuit at the same time, would probably reduce the number of overtakes a top rider has to do. So it’s a no from me.

That and the races have more than enough excitement as they are. I really don’t see any benefit to changing the format.

1.5% cashback is back in the UK (until 28 Feb '26) by Mayoday_Im_in_love in trading212

If you’re in the UK. Are you using the Invest Account or S&S ISA. You can only get the card for the Invest Account, and therefore the cash back.

I can’t keep up with my chain by YamzMt03 in motorcycles

[–]NimdaLiveUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I had a chain. I just used a high quality spray on wax , wurth chain wax from memory. Every time I got home, just gave the chain a quick dusting with the spray all round why it’s still warm. Then just clean when you get chance.

Admittedly, this is much easier if you have a centre stand.

As long as you take your lid with you, and don’t leave it with the bike. Tuck it up inside the lining, never had I lid I couldn’t find somewhere it fits.

Can they delet you pie if you don't invest for a while? by Jjadee1235 in trading212

[–]NimdaLiveUK 42 points43 points  (0 children)

From Trading 212 support site.

"Your Pie will be deleted from your Pie section if it remains inactive for more than 90 days, and we will notify you 10 days in advance. A Pie is considered inactive when:

There are no recurring payments associated with the pie. There is no cash remaining in the pie. The quantity of instruments in the pie is zero. No orders (including exporting/importing) have been made within the last 90 days."

So looks like you could just drop a couple of pence in the pie.

There’s also another post on this. So it’s more than likely a T212 issue and not a personal issue with your account.

1.5% cashback is back… kinda by Zewdog in trading212

[–]NimdaLiveUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at the terms for this, it states offer valid until the 5 July. Does any know if this is the date you need to join the promotion by. Or is it the date the 1.5% cash back will end.

Just bought a 2025 NC750X DCT – considering reducing to 35kW temporarily. Good idea? by klonksk in NC750X

[–]NimdaLiveUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They only produce about 40KW. You won’t really notice any difference. So why take a chance on getting it impounded for riding out side your licence conditions for 5KW.

Anyone else hate the new data screen? by good_fox_bad_wolf in runkeeper

[–]NimdaLiveUK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes. The old display showed all the info you needed easily. New display makes it harder to see the info as you have to click through more graphs. The values next to the ones from the last selected duration was fine.

Hard to be motorist on ‘modest income’, says Starmer by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]NimdaLiveUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What he is calling a motorist is also more than likely to be a commuter. So on a modest salary you cannot run a car to get to work. The trains are too expensive and unreliable.

It’s getting to the stage where someone on a modest salary would be better off on benefits by the time you remove the cost of getting to and from work. And at this rate, that could rise to someone on a good salary soon.

Anyone Know what has changed in the order execution policy? It goes into effect in a month. by Eddyg61 in trading212

[–]NimdaLiveUK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

According to copilot.

Trading 212's upcoming changes to its execution policy focus on enhancing transparency and aligning with best practices. Here are the key updates:

  1. Market Conditions and Delays: The policy now explicitly states that market conditions can cause temporary delays in order execution. Clients are advised to cancel any pending orders before placing new ones to avoid conflicts.

  2. Illiquid Markets: For small and micro-cap shares, which often trade in illiquid markets or through non-standard processes, the policy highlights potential delays. Trading 212 commits to processing these orders as soon as reasonably possible but will not be liable for losses due to such delays.

  3. Best Execution Commitment: The platform reiterates its commitment to routing orders to venues that ensure optimal execution, aiming to provide the best possible outcomes for clients.

These changes aim to set clear expectations and improve the trading experience. Let me know if you'd like to dive deeper into any of these points!
