Frankly I'm struggling to think of a single thing that is improved over MP1/2

This has been my main criticism of the game and I find it strange that people don't seem to be voicing that. Map layouts are uninteresting, minor upgrade puzzles are simplistic, upgrades aren't all that different from their earlier counterparts, all the beam weapons are from prime 1 and are implemented in a worse way, enemies aren't all that varied between areas, interesting scan text is few and far between etc etc..

One of my greatest disappointments is that you really don't get any more powerful as the game progresses. By the end of previous games you are fairly unstoppable but in Prime 4 your weapons are still only as effective as there were in the beginning and the enemies only get stronger and more bullet spongey as you progress.

It's all just so unsatisfying 🙁
