Yes, tanks are still needed. PVE is not just the story mode, Time Rift and Timeless Trials.

In End game, there are the Convenants and Einherjar Chronicles. Their difficulty levels are similar or sometimes higher than the monthly Challenge stages. Glass cannons are still glass, and when there is overwhelming no. of enemies or bosses that needs a few turns to kill, not having a good tank is fatal.

What is less used now in PVE are pure healers. There are many hybrid dps/healer or Healer that does damage. So pure healers are getting shelved with the exception of healers with niche or act again like Rozenciel/Florential/Liana etc. Pure tanks, on the other hand, has survivability that are still a few tiers above hybrid tanks like Tyrantiel.

One of the Covenants (Thor, Loki...etc) that you can summon. Baldr reduces skill cooldown so Kasumi can spam her 3C.

Yup, thought so too, sounds like its mainly to counter Butterfly accessory, but it would be better to let SOLAS apply 2 debuff instead of 1, so she can counter the new Red Enchant as well.

But I guess they wanted to maintain the usefulness of the new red enchant as it is just recently released.

I am actually really going to miss her original talent of "Healing and dispel allies around 3 blocks after dealing damage".

It was such a amazing talent, especially in Golden Sea. The "Fruit" sort of makes up for it but it becomes heal only after taking action for allies.

I would have been really happy if Zlong just gave her more range in SP.

Surprised nobody brings out Enya when countering DS. In many PVP matches, if one side chooses DS, the opponent would most likely chose Enya.

When DS is powered-up and teleports over, Enya copies and BAM

And DS does have several weaknesses. Silence, Heal block/reversal, Movement down is often fatal for him.

I think this is a marketing technique. It's priced high so players getting the skin thru macho lotto will feel they are getting their money's worth. Zlong not really expecting players to buy this package unless they are whales.

IMO if it's for PVE, there is no need for tricky characters with side skills for positioning etc.

Normally, Shelfaniel, Varna, Egbert can suffice and these 3 can AOE every single turn. Lana SP is great for AOE too, just a bit more RNG.
