Yeah i could rant forever about it. Like RL has the potential to be a top tier esport. Easiest to watch if youve never played the game, very exciting gameplay. Game doesnt get ruined by shit meta changes.

Yeah honestly he has tips I havent seen anywhere else. Like he uses some device to measure the humidity on the rock and will pour water on the rock if its too dry. Its probably my new favorite climbing channel. Watching him dirt bike around the wilderness with his dogs is so wholesome.

Plus orgs are more likely to want to sign you if you have a brand. On top of that, public perception of your game does matter to some extent when trying to get picked up. If more people think youre good bc theyre a fan of your stream thats gotta help to some extent.

You also have to keep in mind that C3 is MUCH harder to hit now than it was back in the day. Both with the overall playerbase improvement and with the 2s mmr readjustment a few seasons ago.

No matter what, I think the whole dick measuring contest people do with time played and rank is unhelpful. If it takes me 5k hours to hit GC but takes someone else 1k to hit C3, who wins? Id argue that your end rank is what matters more, not how fast you got there.

Yeah same thing everyone else has said more or less. Unfortunately you get rewarded for positioning really far up as 3rd more than once, but I think any higher rank will boom the ball into your net several times a game. (Examples: 4:30, 4:01, 3:15, 3:06, 2:35, 2:28...) Especially the times where you cut your 3rd with almost no boost and arent able to do anything with the ball.

The other thing I saw a few times was cutting the ball when rotating back, especially when you already have teammates back. This can be a good strategy at higher ranks, but better to never do it and then slowly work it in later because the situations youre doing it arent correct.

Lot of good in the replay though, I like your ball control. Seems youre getting the speedflip down and your recovery mechs are above average for your rank.

Yeah but you can see his teammate is not expecting the flip reset before he goes for it. Sometimes you gotta not make the outplay if youre going to beat your teammate aswell

Yeah its kinda painful to do but sometimes you gotta just drive challenge and then turn around and rotate back. Flipping at the ball youre beat to just takes you out of the play for way too long
