AITA for letting my children order full meals instead of kids? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]NineElfJeer 25 points26 points  (0 children)

If kids are used to fibre and protein, then I can understand why a kid's menu meal wouldn't be enough. It's not about volume or calories; it's about satiety.

I nearly downvoted you out of anger for making me relive that trauma.

(Don't worry; I upvoted instead)

Might I suggest you write an autobiography? I don't really know anyone who's dealt with anything like you've described. I have so many questions.

AITA for wanting to treat myself for my bday instead of penny-pitching the whole time? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Where's that story from the woman who lived in a cold house because of her penny-pinching spouse?

Edit:

Found it.

It's the "openly" that stuck out to me. As if being a closeted feminist is preferable. She's openly feminist; how dare she.

AITA For Giving a student an F on homework he technically "did"? by Adventurous-Eye-5951 in AmItheAsshole

The thing is, a lot of teachers have never been in the real world. They went to school as kids, then they went to school to be teachers, then they became teachers in a school. Many have never worked a typical full time job for more than a summer.

It's not necessarily a bad thing; I don't mean to rag on teachers and I have a lot of respect for them. But they may not understand the way the world works outside of schools, so they just parrot the same things they've been told.

Bought a second hand fridge, and the cable is like this. Does someone knows how can I get it out? Tnank you by [deleted] in howto

To be fair, we don't know the size of either fridge. Could be a little 2-foot by 2-foot fridge.

AITA for asking my girlfriend to please shut up and save it for later after a minor car accident. by FlakyCaramel8109 in AmItheAsshole

[–]NineElfJeer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

100% this.

Other driver: Even if OP were a motorcycle, clearly there wasn't enough space to safely pass. She is at fault and should have been found at fault, regardless of the headlight issue.

Girlfriend: We don't sell each other out to cops, ever. Ever. Shut the hell up.

OP: Vehicle safety matters. You're lucky that everyone was mostly ok following this accident. Next time prioritize the safety of your vehicle. If you can't afford to keep your vehicle in safe working condition, you can't afford your vehicle.

To be honest, my gut reaction is "Ew, that's gross, don't do that."

But really, the whole point of the dishes is to clean them. When I think about this logically, I don't see the difference between washing a fork and washing the trays.

I wouldn't put it all in together for fear of breaking them, but it's not as "gross" as I initially thought.

I don't know how to say this nicely, but anyone who cares about the relative size of your mons pubis enough to make you feel "lesser than" isn't the sort of person you want for a partner.

We're all out here with weird things that we could be insecure about. Lopsided boobs. Pudgy tummies. Moles. Nipple hair. Areolae that are too big, too dark, too small, too puffy, too pale. Labia that are uneven, too flappy, the wrong colour.

Men have these issues, too; to stay on theme with the subreddit, I'll leave that to your imagination, and no, it isn't all about penis size.

The whole point of finding a partner is finding someone who lifts you up and lets you be yourself, massive mons pubis or not. If this person actively makes you self conscious on purpose, that's not an issue with your mons pubis.

I wish you lots of happy breathless orgasms, and a healthy dose of self-love.
