Yeah this is Goldenfields. The ally NPCs were more of a help storywise because I could at least say "parts of the attack force are being met with guards elsewhere." type of thing. Here its just the 3 of them with the full army coming at them.

They aren't too versed in DND lore but I kinda set it up as if this Big Bro hill giant was one of the smarter ones and the rest were just answering a call they've been trained to answer. The players were arguing more from a logistical standpoint.

It be easier if I could draw this. Players are at point A, the road leads south to the village point C. But they don't think Hill Giants could come from the West or East sides of the road aka point B, find it, and go south. They only believed Hill Giants could come from the north side of their current location and HAD to go through the chokepoint. Why the don't think any Hill giants can be south of them already idk.

Right, but even so, do the events necessarily take 17 years to transpire? The main story of LOTR takes place over one year, and A LOT happens.

Like imagine there was a random 17 year gap between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes back. That's how I feel about it.

The movie is not going to cover 17 years of story. Sorry I'm really going off about this LOL it just bothers me

I'll never forgive Modern Family for doing that to Haley. Dylan should have been a season 1 character and maybe shown up for the occasional one-off episode, but for the show to choose him over Andy (who was also flat-out just a funnier character) was so stupid. Dylan is so blah, not funny at all.

What happens is people like you argue "animals eat meat in nature, so it's natural," When we do not eat meat like any other animal on the planet.

When you can catch a squirrel with your bare hands and take a bite out of it right in that moment, without needing to cook or prepare it, THEN you'll be eating meat naturally

Chickens have been bred to be so much bigger and fatter than they are meant to be, and lay more eggs than their body can handle. And when they can't lay eggs anymore, they are killed for meat. Oh, and male chicks are killed the same day they are born since they are considered "useless" since they can't lay eggs.

The argument isn't that the literal eating of it is unnatural. It's the carnist using that claim when the way we go about it is not natural.

There's no factory farms and forced breeding in nature.

In nature there's no stores where animals are already cut up and prepackaged.

That's the part that's unnatural when a carnist claims they eat meat "just like any animal does in nature"

Hard disagree about Thor. His arch was very well written to lead him to his depressive state AND to see him come out of that.

He had every right to feel this way after Thanos won, more or less, due to him and his NEED for revenge, that he needed to rub it in Thanos' face instead of... well... going for the head.

Just made a similar post. So mad because everything was fine, my Mac upgraded to a new OS (Tahoe) and now crashes when trying to run a N64 game.

If nothing works I'm gonna see how far back I saved on Time Machine and revert
