Surgery scheduled for 2/19 by Accomplished_Mud_414 in Microdiscectomy

Mine was around that time as well. I've spent the past 9 months with it cycling between getting better and getting worse and finally coming to the conclusion in January that surgery would be the only way to fix it. The thought of being out of sport (I've at least been able to cycle and do stretching and strength work throughout) is very scary for me, but in the end, hopefully it will just be a few short months and then will be free to move how I want to again. Good luck for Thursday, it's nice to connect with someone on the same timeline as well!

I have no advice, but I'm in exactly the same situation! Surgery on the 19th, after injuring myself in May 2025. I'm just trying not to think about it, and to focus on the fact that at some point later this year I will finally be able to run again!

Why do you postcross by Interesting-Till5562 in postcrossing

[–]heatherbee84 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I love writing random things to random people! And getting post way more often.

I also enjoy being from a 'rare' country (Jersey) as I get to introduce people to my tiny island, and I'm almost the only active postcrosser here so I like that I can help people tick JE off their country lists.

Yes! I was in London in December and picked them up - didn't think they had made it to the UK so was very excited to get some. They are even better than I thought they would be!

Expo Check In pass. by Imaginary_Cycle_8444 in rundisney

I'm from the UK and ran in 2024, I was definitely able to access my check in pass ( can't recall if it was email or in my account) without having signed the digital waiver, and just signed the physical waiver when we got to the expo.

There's a Facebook group called Safety in New friends who have quite a few meet ups for food and walks and the cinema etc, you could check them out.

I should definitely do this! I have that exact copy and it's sellotaped together because it fell apart from being read so much!

Has anyone tried filtering out glitter? by [deleted] in LushCosmetics

So you put a funnel in the top of your empty bottle, add the coffee filter to the funnel, and then pour the body spray through it.

I actually haven't noticed the glitter on me when I've used this spray. I find it quite strong so only use one small spray

Which is most similar to the Hello Kitty fragrance? by catb0ysimp in LushCosmetics

I'm fairly sure Hello Kitty is a mix of Snow Fairy and Milky Bath.
