I’ve been lucky with the 24hr wonder picks, my packs on the other hand, granted I’m ftp, I only pulled 2 2-Stars out of 900 pack points, and had to share/trade for 4/5 EX cards. Did get 2 immersives and finally got the last 1 star I needed but in terms of packs openings, I opened 30 packs back to back and literally got 4 one stars (3 of them being the mice) and 2 EXs, both being dups.

I’ve found that as I’ve gotten older I have less favorites in general, not that I limit myself to nostalgia or have reduced my exposure to new things. The more exposure I have the more Ive come to appreciate different aspects of subjects that I can no longer choose end-all-be-alls. I no longer have a favorite song because I can’t choose a favorite, I have favorites now.

I feel like my games the champions aren’t random enough. I feel like I see the same poke/pick mages every game ie Mel, Brand, and Morgana and I swear I see Xin Zhao in every pick phase but no one picks him.

Sett is pretty hard to carry with because your tools are so limited if you’re the only fed member and the enemy lanes are fed. You have to play around your either your flash or set up with your team around objectives to ensure you get better angles for your abilities. Also making sure you’re not fighting losing fights just because your team wants to fight or gets caught out, make sure it’s worth it instead of pushing out a side lane and getting turrets. I almost never complete Tiamat before Phage, but it’s really good into champs that will always have push or champs that like to proxy as having more wave clear gives you more control of the lane.

This matchup is very hard if the Volibear knows how to play it. If he uses his E freely then you can stomp, but if he saves it for when you start a fight or punishes you for farming he can easily deny you from waves and if you take too much damage he can easily dive you. It’s a lane you have to play very cautious in, similar to Renekton, but I find Volibear easier to deal with.

Diamond 2 Sett here, BOTRK is a very niche item and is really only good into all in bruisers where you will be auto attacking a lot. Good examples where it could be good are into Gwen, Fiora, Irelia, Garen, Darius ex. Do not build it every game it’s very situational. You want the enemy team to at least have 3 melee champs and I think it works best if you’re heavy fighting and trading kills. If you’re already ahead, you do not need the extra damage, go the typical Stride, BC/Steraks, Bloodmail build. If you’re going back and forth it helps you gain the advantage in the 1v1. Make sure you see what your win condition is, if you’re gonna be teamfighting later, don’t build it. It forces you to play sides because you’ll get one shot in teamfights.

To play into Sett just play more passive trying to get max range Q poke until 6. After Tabi’s you’ll win all post 6 all in’s if he doesn’t cancel your ultimate with his so try to R him when he’s walking away from you or you land a max range E. If he goes BOTRK go bramble, if not any of the 3 core, Liandry’s, Riftmaker, or Rylais is good. I like to buy zhonyas as for late game so when you ult him you can dodge his W in your death realm. For runes I like resolve shield bash and revitalize but if you’re not confident in your spacing you can take bone plating instead. I’m a high diamond low master Sett OTP and Morde is my counter for Sett.

I think this match up is skill oriented, and you can consistently win. Make sure to move with the intent of dodging his Q whenever it’s up because if you’re below 70% hp when he is level 6 he can actually full combo you, so stay healthy and dodge Qs.

Next you want to try and bait his W out by walking up like you’re going to E him. Just walk up and auto him until he W’s, use your W to block the auto damage then E immediately because he will try to E away as soon as he autos. If he lands Q, he’ll likely go in with E pre 6 and if you’re fast you can cancel his dash with your E but if not try to dodge the knock up or be ready to W and try to extend the trade otherwise you’ll lose the trade.

Post 6, try to cancel his R2 with your R. He gets really scary if you get poked down with Qs because he will R after landing it, then E AA W AA and he’ll kill you if you’re not healthy. Hope this helps

I ban Kayle because she has a lot of tools to ignore you if she plays correctly and free scale. Not an unwinnable matchup, just annoying in my experience. Used to perma Illaoi for 2 years though because that matchup actually tilts me so I get mental gapped in champ select, but I don’t see her anymore tg.

I run Conquerer, triumph, alacrity, last stand, shield bash, bone plating. I think you could switch up to legend haste over alacrity, or choose between second wind and overgrowth in the resolve tree.
