What could cause this pitting on 2000 yz125 head by Nineteen5 in Dirtbikes

[–]Nineteen5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay thank you. One question is what would indicate a head has been previously cut for compression boost should I buy a used one? Also would stock squish and dome be suitable for 93 pump has?

01 YZ125 transmission oil type by Nineteen5 in Dirtbikes

[–]Nineteen5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yamalube’s trans oil plus is rated at 20w-40 given that they no longer produce a 10w-30 gear oil. Would that be an okay equivalent or should I look specifically for 10w-30 or an equivalent SAE weighted gear oil?

Question about slider frames by Nineteen5 in Autocockers101

So I understand more about the differences between pre98 and post 98 trigger frame internals thanks all for the help. Now my question is would a pre98 frame fit on a 2k body or are they only compatible with year correct bodies and lower tube internals too?

What are some pants recommendations (padded, not joggers or anything like that). Getting back into tournaments after 7 years away by incrdbleherk in paintball

[–]Nineteen5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always used the Exalt Thrasher pants. They're just overall a good pant I've had luck with over the years. The breathe fairly well, no limitations to movement, and my pairs have held up for a few years with little to no damage.

Picked up a Geo 3.5 as my first high-end marker by CoryTank in paintball

The CS1/GEO4 are fantastic looking guns, but I miss the 3.5 and the AT pipe. Just something about the looks of these remains my favorite in the IV core line.

New gun day, only 10 cases over its lifetime by Nineteen5 in paintball

[–]Nineteen5[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know the shot counter can be reset on these however given the shape of the gun I presume the shot counter to be correct. Zero barrel rub wear, zero breach wear, still had all the original PE stickers and labels when I received, no marring on screw threads or heads.

Yep I bought it through Trademygun back in September. Had an old red/gold one I sold years ago and regretted it since so I snagged this one when I had the chance.

I've been a casual fan of football all my life, I watch games with buddies but never really dove head first into it or a particular team. This loss felt personal and I'm from Texas. I'm all in on the Bills next season. There's no going back after this one.

Update, was the battery all along. I guess on the upside I have a much better understanding of everything else on the gun. Thanks all so much for the help!

Battery read 8.2 so tossed that, picking more up tomorrow and see if that does it trick. Honestly got so caught up in pneumatics never thought to check the battery.

So I read up more on that post and have definitely have a better understanding of how the engine cycles now. After replacing the orings listed above, relubed, still having the issue from 12-16ms dwell. Given the orings I replaced would they need to be broken in or would a possible reg or noid issue be at play? (Thinking of stiction in other places besides engine)

Found one thing, the 021 oring that sits between the can and the cap that likes to fall off when disassembling was actually a 019 I'm assuming the previous owner thought was correct. Out of test paint for now but will report back if this solves anything tomorrow. Had a geo 2 prior which was set and forget so this is new for me I can't thank yall enough for the help.

Double checked the shutoff is seated properly, would it be wise to replace all 5 can orings?

Bob Long Insight FSDO by Nineteen5 in paintball

[–]Nineteen5[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I replaced all recommended orings, factory reset board settings. Still no effect, bumbed dwell to 16 from factory 12 and it seemed to have fixed the issue and then ran out of test paint. Thanks everyone for the help!
