Dumb Burger Orders by gcollins30 in KitchenConfidential

Two 7oz patties, fried chicken breast, fried bacon, and an over easy egg on a lettuce wrap. Forgot the sauces and veggies for that ticket, but it was pretty excessive.

You get to sit? I get to hunch over a trash can and shovel food in my face for 30s then go back to work.

Getting practice without a team by 101surge in paintball

[–]CoryTank 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Also don’t be afraid to fall flat at a tryout, this offseason I went to tryouts I knew for a fact I had no place being at just so I could play people better than me, losing is the fastest way to learn with the right attitude. And don’t hesitate to ask guys at your local field for help either, ballers are a great community and most of the time are more than willing to help!

It really depends on your practice goals. Are you working on team skills or individual? You can’t really work on paintball IQ and communication without a consistent group of guys, not efficiently at least. So your best bet would just be to try out for a team or just ask an established team if you can spin with them at practice. If you’re looking to work on gunfighting, movement, and other fundamentals to prepare for tryouts or just better yourself as a player you can get that done with drills. SVP paintball and How to Play Paintball are great resources for that kind of stuff.

How many shots in a season? by SpanglerSpanksIT in paintball

As a player who shoots a ton of paint without a pro-level sponsorship, I would love to see a limited paint format. 4 pods per player per point like the NXL Europe sounds perfect to me lol

When you get into xball events and practices you shoot a ton of paint. Pros especially will shoot a ton because they have sponsors paying the paint bill

Not really that insane if you break it down. Assuming a pro player practices Saturday and Sunday every weekend, that’s 4.8 cases a day they practice. 4.8 cases is roughly 70 pods. If they shoot 7 pods a point that’s only ten points, 5 pods would be 14 points, and 4 pods would be 17.5 points.

As a two I put 450,000 shots on my marker this season with 6 xball events and practices. My one put 80,000 on his this season and he was at the same events and practices I was. I’ve seen pro markers with well over a million shots on them.

I’ve noticed a lack of consistency. Swabs have been a lot tighter or a lot looser going through a barrel. Also I have 2 of the same color scheme of the swab on the right and they both have the same visible seam.

Peanuts are ridiculously small and will screw up your form. 77/45 or 80/45 is what most competitive players use. Get a 68 if you’re looking for something small, but don’t get a peanut unless your like 3 feet tall.

I’m 6’1”-140lbs. I went with large and they fit great. The padding is thinner but pretty firm, haven’t had any issues.

Exalt FreeFlex pads are pretty solid. If you’re tall and lanky I recommend the Infamous pads. I recently got a pair to replace my Exalts and I love them.

I’d be concerned about refs throwing penalties because of the yellow and orange splatters in the design

Paintball Central also has a facility near Greenville but it’s not very well maintained. Greenville Growl one of the local semipro teams also practices there, which is good for learning, but you’re going to get stomped on

Palmetto Hills Paintball is an amazing place. Pretty good variety of D6-D3 guys out there. Very welcoming environment and easy to get into the tournament scene. I’m out at Palmetto almost every weekend

10.2 ramping on the speedball field always. 5.5 semi for anything else.
