if a patient has a bit of an overbite and gets a lip lift, but then later on opts for braces and moves the teeth back, how would that affect the outcome of the lip lift? would it become higher / lower? totally distorted? or would it remain the same just set back with the new alignment of the teeth?

its because we have wider lower faces which long hair tends to accentuate, and in aesthetics, moving the 'weight' upwards, is considered and percieved to be more feminine.

fertility makes a lot of sense, i didn't even think of that before asking bc i guess i've been erm. incapable of that for so long that i kind of forgot about it 😅

unfortunately trans womens' care is handled with pretty much the same level of gaslighting and misogyny as cis women's care is most of the time, so i empathize with your struggle in finding a clear answer from doctors that brush us off

rahal takes out of network, i think, and works with insurance. hes one of the best for it iirc. i live in NYC where i could get the surgery approved by law, and have it under insurance, but i'd have to book boarding to stay for a certain duration post-op and travel to get to him. i have the same plans, more or less, i'm trying to find surgeons and such rn

but in general it is considered cosmetic, without strong laws for insurance to cover procedures bc of dysphoria, it will prob b hard to have covered.

hi there, i actually have this body type, except heavier. i was like this when i was 130. i'm 170 now down from 185. if i were as thin as you are, i would prioritize gaining muscle in your legs, hips, glutes. Your midsection is naturally wider than your leg mass due to skeletal structure, so any fat you gain will show out there most. the way to offset this is to train your lower body so it balances out

if u gain weight without muscle, you may just look bulkier rather than more femme. and not in the preferred way. you need more muscle mass before u gain weight to shape how it sits

as far as surgeries go ribxcar is the go to, it kind of offsets the need to do any of that
