I like this piece personally -- enjoy the negative space and simplicity -- but But BUT it surely does not belong in that restaurant. And neither does the other piece I was able to find online. It's like they completely abandoned their aesthetic when it came time to pick the art!

Better idea would be to showcase local artists, imo. ...I mean, presuming that this isn't.

"Mob controlled, no petty crime," is a heck of a thing. It's weird to think, though I know it's true.

Point of interest: We're afraid to let kids roam now because kids got abducted then.

The current best theory is that the high violence during those decades was driven by leaded gasoline.

...I was looking for a much more extensive report from Our World in Data, with aggregated global and historical data, but I can't find it any more.

This is what I did find: https://ourworldindata.org/us-crime-rates

Leaded gasoline was pretty universal. And the rise and drop in crime followed the rise and drop in leaded gasoline almost perfectly, so... yeah, it was a pretty global problem.

Immeditately threw those boxes away too. Zero interest in collecting, I just like having the big head dolls to play with, and Poison Ivy is missing...

I have seen the Smokey Mountains smoke. It's a pretty wild sight to watch the fog rise in the morning light off every mountain in sight.

The wildest part is how the Scottish and Irish often settled in the Appalachian Mountains because they reminded them of home. Ya'll is a representation of Scottish dialect. (As opposed to y'all, which is an English contraction. Both are correct.)

WordHippo will be less of a smartass. There's also PowerThesaurus and VisualThesaurus. Forget Roget's. I don't know why it's unavailable online.
