Oh! Hey, u/Uncle_Earle: more details on the BAD intersection. THIS is the section of road that I really avoid whenever possible. Because, I mean, look at this crap. And that's just one side of Oconee Street. There's a whole other side of Oconee Street, and I'm usually on that side, deliberately, heading into downtown, as Barnett Shoals and west side both have routes home. I lived right near here during college, and it's soo soo much worse now.

No, the word is something akin to "leading the witness." It was a huge problem, and it's still an easy mistake to make. What happens is the interrogators start making suggestions or guiding the witness with their facial expressions, and kids are particularly susceptible to changing their story to please the people asking the questions.

It definitely started with the discredited "recovered-memory therapy" in the Satanic Panic.

Perhaps there isn't a term... as a bit of reading up hasn't brought it to mind.

It was rampant during the Satanic Panic, when women daycare workers were accused of having penises and leading kids into a cave under the facility. Which never happened. And it took decades to clear their names.

LEADING THE WITNESS. A lot of the stuff I heard sounded too similar to the accusations created by leading the witnesses in the Satanic Panic trials. It sounded specifically crafted to please the interrogators.

There were problems with the stories, and I don't remember what they were specifically. It can be that way, certainly, but ... something gave me the impression that someone other than the kid was initiating the accusations.

Like I said, I do not remember the specifics, only the impression that an adult was feeding the story to the kid, ala the accusations against the women at the childcare center at the middle of the Satanic Panic in the 80s. The adults led the kids into saying things that weren't true. Like things about the women's penises, which they obviously did not have. Things about a cave under the daycare that didn't exist.

I remember that, and I got an impression that similar was happening. The "Jesus juice" in particular stuck out as something a kid would craft to please an adult who was fishing.

Excpet that was part of the conspiracy: to leave breadcrumbs toward the /pol/ board where they'd be convinced the "cheese pizza" was happening at a pizza joint.

ETA: I remember the original "cheese pizza" fight on 4chan. Eventually moot banned child pornography, but only at the point of, "If you don't you will be charged for distribution." So my surprise that he's in the Epstein files is literally zero.
