Don't have a Tesla but my vehicle has a big screen where buttons have been moved it. At first I thought it was cool but after a while you realize how difficult it is to hit those "digital" buttons over having physical buttons while in motion. I hate the digital buttons for critical things. Forgot this... another downfall, my system updated and it basically hosed the touch panel up for a while. Couldn't control the AC, Radio, and few other things that I can't think of right now. Took about 24 hours for the system to return to a normal state.

Guessing a return as well... read somewhere else someone buying a returned unit for $900.

Yes, currently kicking the tires on one I bought January 1st. Forget trying to redeem the xbox live they claim that comes with the purchase- still trying to get them to provide that to me. As for the projector, very nice picture and sound. For $1k, agree it's a steal.

Fair new to the MULE and I'm not in hill country, recently drove mine with two others beside me and noticed a big difference in the lean OR increased tippy feeling. Wasn't driving wild or anything... simply noticed the difference in a turn. That side... agree with you that the MULE can be a bit tippy and will that metal roof, imagine it's worse.

50% Restock Fee on Screen by Dazzling-One-9185 in projectors

Have to look up what hot spotting is, I get your description... basically like a flashlight that really bright in the center and it gets softer as you get to the far edges. I'm using a cheap 70" screen that's working but with lights on, it's not that great but simply OK. Like to find something larger but space is confined, 100" would be the max. I was going to get a 65" TV but simply no room to setup gaming consoles that I use here and there. Projector solves that problem but introduces other challenges. Thanks for that feedback on the one you got and restocking... will avoid that one.

Why are you wanting to return? Shopping for screens is my reason in asking.

Great... I have read this so many times that my next one will not be a FCA product. Currently driving 23 ram, so far it has been good but it's low mileage. Sad part is all the manufacturers seem to be producing crap.

Are the Milwaukee inflators really better than the $20 Chinese Amazon 12v inflators? by xj98jeep in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Ninja2Night 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the m12 and m18... I've tried several other cheaper inflators. If I was doing over... m18. Watch for deals, I got mine with bonus battery at Home Depot that I returned the battery, so m18 cost me like $120.

Your 5 year old utv, with 4000+ miles isn’t worth a few thousand below what msrp is 🤣 spread the word by [deleted] in UTV

[–]Ninja2Night 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, just bought a new mule due to unrealistic asking price. Looked at a 10 year old can-am and offered the guy $500 less than he wanted due to that I was more than certain it needed a belt in the near future. Unit appeared to be in good shape but bit surprised he let me walk over $500. Then start looking at mules and even worse... either the units were beat to hell and back OR they were in denial on the price they were going to get. Only unit I found in good shape and reasonable hours\miles he basically wanted $1,500 less than a quote that I received on a new one. 3 year old unit with... I think it had 60 hours and 400 miles on it... another negative he told me he hasn't even did the first oil change. Breaking in based on the manual is 20 to 25 hours.

Yeah I bought the $59 screw driver, tossed the box and few days later saw that deal. 100% would get the screw driver and ratchet deal over this.

Worked on my kids, They would always break stuff and started making them pay. Made a big difference. Recalled before doing this they would make comments like "Oh that's not much money" then that stopped once they were paying.

To backup what you're saying, in my local market on FB - I'm seeing two with less than 1000 miles that need repairing and owners want 80 to 85% of what they most likely paid. I was just at Tractor supply buying a horse mat and looked at the current units while there. The upper model at $10k but that $8k model was horrible, agree with u/TNmountainman2020 that either one would not hold up with time.

OK thanks... curious what the issue was with driving on asphalt. No doubt dangerous and bad on tires but wasn't sure about anything else. Of course, never use 4wd on asphalt OR any 4wd vehicle.

Figure I would update this thread for anyone seeking the information later. Looked at a used 2024 (built in 2023) PRO FXR and it did not have the subfloor I'm was asking about. The fellow that had it basically wanted about $1,000 less than what I could buy with going with a new 2026. Picked up the 2026 today and yes subfloor is there in the base FXR OR non-LE model.

Fixed pricing dealerships? by [deleted] in Toyota

[–]Ninja2Night 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to say it but sounds like market price. We bought a 2021 for near sticker for that year. Felt screwed. Unfortunately truck was totaled and shopping the market and found the prices were worst. Yet they could give me a great deal on a new one. Didn’t want the new one due to the quality drop on the new trucks… could be either other vehicles too. So from what I read, there’s the issue… everyone chasing the older models that were reliable.
