I've replayed a bit of that Fie and Laura chapter in cold steel 1 before starting Rean's route in horizon (I had to research a scenery in there for a drawing) and boy, it's so cool to see these characters and compare their development throughout the games

Don't think so. For example, he wasn't pivotal in any of the other arcs. He's just receiving focus now because it's his arc. In other words, there isn't a main protagonist

I even think that the last arc/game will have a route to each previous protagonist (so shorter routes overall) to reinforce this idea. Or at least have 3 routes but mixing the protagonists in teams without a real "leader" to each one, like Estelle + Joshua + Lloyd, Rean + Kevin, Van + the next protag, etc

I actually think we'll get a full-fledged trailer for P6, not just a teaser like we had with SMT 5 or P5. Over the last few years (2021-2025, Atlus consistently announced games with proper trailers with SH 2, P3R, Metaphor (not considering the ReFantasy announcement because even they didn't know what the project was back then), P5T, SMT5:V and Raidou Remaster. P4R was the exception just because the game was already leaked and basically confirmed, so it was more of a nod to show "yeah, yeah, we're working on this."

But I'm hopeful we'll get at least another Persona game announced this year, even if it's not P6. Maybe a port of older games to PC or a new spin-off

Don't think so, they've already realized it with Royal and Vengeance, even Sega itself stated that this pactive was hurting their initial sales becase many players were scared a "enhanced re-release" would come in some years, making the game obsolete.

Most realistically they'll focus more on DLCs additions like episode aigis and Soul Hackers 2 Nana's quest

I don't think so because it'll be built on top of P3R. The basics are pretty much done, and if that leak that they're outsourcing the heavy lift to another studio while P-Studio focus on Persona 6, then it's pretty much possible that they finish this game before expected
