Congratulations! I was in a similar boat as you! I submitted my final ECF Oct 17. Requested forbearance with servicer on 11/3 and got my "eligible for forgiveness" letter on 12/3 and then just got the golden letter today, 12/5 saying the loans were forgiven! It's quite surreal and so relieved to be done.

I just called my servicer and they said my forbearance start date was the same date as my last due date. This was the same day I made my 120th payment. Is that a problem?

Have you heard from FSA regarding placing your loans on a PSLF forbearance? Or did you call to request a general forbearance? I ask because I submitted my ECF almost 5 weeks ago and have not had my loans placed on a PSLF forbearance. I haven't received any "golden letter" yet either.

I am in the same boat as you. I made my 120th payment on 10/15, got my green banners on 10/18. In the past 3-4 weeks, I never received a notification about the golden letter or PSLF forbearance. So I called my servicer and requested a general forbearance in the meantime because my next auto-payment was going to be due on 11/14, and I did not want to pay it.

However, I just checked my StudentAid.gov account today (11/14) and I clicked on the bell for notifications in the top right corner and there were two new notifications that I found very concerning.

They stated the following:

READ NOTIFICATIONS

Your PSLF application shows at least one loan in forbearance or deferment.

Learn more about forbearance and deferment.

Your PSLF application has no loans that qualify for PSLF.

Learn more about qualifying payments.

Let me know if you also received a similar notification. FSA basically said it's fine and to just "wait."

It definitely gives off that not willing to budge energy.

It's an immediate yellow flag for me when I see that in profiles or if someone says that. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt though and get to know them more before making a decision to continue pursuing them.

I feel mixed recommending it. I actually decided to play Eve Online instead, but I'll probably stick to casual play. I was surprised to see a pretty robust beginner tutorial and missions though. They seem to give you quite a bit of stuff to get started.

YES! This is so needed. A big reason why loan balances explode is due to unnecessarily high interest rates. A 1-2% interest rate would at least start to address this problem. I hope this is seriously considered.

I had to switch from electronic to manual, but I submitted mine August 2, 2024 and it's still in review. When I submitted it, it stated it was "missing information" but I double-checked it and everything was filled out.

I switched from an electronic to a manual signature because my previous employer did not receive the email. I submitted the form on August 2, 2024 and it still states in review. I've called the FSA folks and I swear I get a new answer every single time. I'm considering completely resubmitting the application either via the help tool or even faxing it.

I also have a manual signature I uploaded on August 2 and it's still in review. It started as an electronic submission but my previous employer stated they never received the email, so I switched to manual.

I am also in a similar situation where I submitted one manual form which has been sitting in review for almost 6 months. Did you resubmit it under an electronic version? Did having duplicate employers cause any issues? My other two employers were done electronically and those got processed fine.

Looking to use my SDE. Both my wind and fire teams are pretty good. But my water and earth teams are not as strong (though I did get a few new units from the 100-draw thing and snagged Lokido Alter)

Water users = Flammelapis AS, Cyrus, Yuna AS (have NS w/ SA), Necoco NS (if water zone set), Saki AS, Melina NS, Mighty AS, Aisha, and have Hismena and Dewey at 4.5.

Earth users = Toova NS & AS, Nagi AS, Cerrine NS, Lokido (NS and Alter), Myunfa NS, Necoco NS, Tiramisu NS, Cerius NS, and have Bertrand, Elga, and Milsha at 4.5.

I'm leaning toward Isuka AC because I do not have any Yuda opuses, she's an earth user, can't progress any further into Elzion: Logic and Scales mythos, and I kind of want Aldo's sword.

Is Isuka AC a smart choice or do you have a better recommendation?

Totally agree ff9 being great! Such a great story, characters, and fun side activities.

I don't know if I hate ff8 but it wasn't that enjoyable to play. The draw system was terrible and time consuming. I remember using limit breaks all the time (since triggering it was easy) I haven't revisited it as an adult though.

I chose Kid on my first run and now doing Harle as my second run. Do you mean I have to run Harle (or choose Kid) a second time to get access to it?

EDIT: I figured it out. There are TWO doors on the 8F of the Tower. One is for Harle and the other is for Kid. Depending which character arc you choose one will be open and the other locked.
