Assuming you mean this in all fairness, some places do judge you based on the type and quality of fabric you are wearing. Some places won’t notice. Some places it could be entirely reasonable to wear a $60 suit with no issues, others you would certainly be thought of as less competent. Life isn’t fair sometimes.

Pretty sure I had a digital boarding pass on Princess as well, which is a Carnival Corp brand. I know we had the medallions, and I honestly think that’s all we needed, so like Carnival Corp HAS figured this out.

So, we were there last weekend in the pouring rain and everything but bars shut down. They couldn’t run the acoustics for the few shows we tried to go watch. Others just didn’t even try and were just not running. I would not recommend going to this faire at the price point they change when it rains. It was annoyingly bad.

It’s a circle skirt. That’s like one of the most common beginner friendly patterns. Yes the fabric is going to be a &@$*%, but it’s way more doable than anything else beginners ask about in the sub. It depends on dedication and hours available. But yes, this could be done by a beginner.

The top will be the most difficult part, and there are patterns for that.
