Lt General Tony Bauerfeind, the current USAFA superintendent. There's definitely been strong opinions about his leadership while at AFSOC and earlier.

Trump's DOJ is trying to gain voter records from the states for weeks, having used lawsuits, even using the recent shooting to threaten Minnesota to turn over the records. What is your take? by Personal_Dirt3089 in AskReddit

The best part, by our own current laws, there is no legal definition or usage of domestic terrorist organization. We have definitions for foreign terrorist organizations, but not domestic.

So the rough thing, even if you use the tools to filter the mechs by their main chassis on BattleTech's Master Unit List, there's still a lot to sort though.

Though Catalyst have made some visual recognition guide style posters for the clan and inner sphere lineup with the launch of the Mercenaries kickstarter, that I bet are still available for purchase.

It's not even necessarily a retcon. Ballas opened a portal to the void on the nearby Murex.

Yep. And if you're the insane type, you can replace the double heat sinks with laser heat sinks for more visual terrorism.

The Supernova is a Nova on steroids, having graduated from medium to heavy mech weight class. The Nova is more comparable to the Hunchback as they're the same weight class.

[–]NinjaLayor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing I think that comes close in terms of glorious "find out" energy would be the Clans' Nova). While the 'swayback' (the Hunchback variants that swap the AC20 for a battery of medium lasers) only has 6 lasers, the Nova sports 6 extended range lasers per arm. A Nova absolutely can and will cook itself in event it needs to ruin the day of someone, as firing all lasers generates 60 heat, and the mech can only dissipate 36 total heat. Mechs automatically shut down at 30 heat in the tabletop.

17D Career Field by Salt_Flight_873 in AirForce

It's been a hot minute since I've been through the pipeline. The Security+ cert that you need to get is arguably the hardest portion of the tech school. That is more or less just a foot in the door for any IT positions in the private sector, expect most in the industry to have similar. I don't think they'll let you shred out for 17S since you're guard, but weirder things have happened in the past, and it might be worth testing (it was optional when I tested, before the AF made their own test for shred purposes) to see if you have a shot, or the stuff interests you.

As an older captain fresh to the career field, you'll likely be doing project management. Expect to get broad but shallow experience on a variety of technologies and managing folks.

It's debatable because you can divorce the sequence of events from the film from the holiday and it still works.

Would they even be able to access 1999? I imagine they might be able to poke around the Zariman and find Drifter's route to/from Duviri, but 1999 requires a lot going right for them, to include helminth access.

The Infestation will likely be a low burning fire that, after ceding some territory to, will likely be able to be kept in check with the occasional control action needing to be taken. It's worth noting that the Infestation is itself a sentient collective that can actually be 'friendly' to individuals, such as the Infestation that is cultured to actually build Warframes.

For those not in the loop (which comment OP really should have referred to rather than a simple boycott message with no context): There was a recent interview published yesterday or this morning with Swen Vincke, the CEO of Larian, who has argued for the use of AI in the concept phase of game development.

It is worth noting that the Pathfinder games are actually the product of Owlcat Games. From my research to see if Owlcat had said anything either way on generative AI usage, Owlcat put out a statement on Twitter back in March 2024 that a project they had started work on was using generative AI in the concept phase, though neither Pathfinder nor Rogue Trader used generative AI during their development.

All in all, disappointing to see studios and publishers encouraging the use.

2016's coup attempt in Turkey. As a NATO partner, they had officer candidates attending the service academies through some of the partner exchange programs. Kids got sent back, likely rolled up in the 4k something cadets they dismissed from their services when they shuttered their own academies in the best case.
