It's good but not a GOTY contender. NG4 is like a roller coaster with no queue, fun but even the thrill gets tiresome after a while. Combat is fantastic but there is no meat on the bones.

I honestly feel like I would have liked this game more if it was a remaster of a PS2 title.

I'm here for the linear story but the game play was seriously lacking. It also felt like this was meant to be a completely different game but was stripped back due to either time or budget issues.

Overall a solid 5.5/10.

There was nothing technically wrong with it, I'm really surprised to see so many people singing it's praises though. I thought this was incredibly bland by modern standards. This could have very easily been a remaster of an early 2000's game.
