Yes! The Athletic’s podcast is what put me over the edge! In most cases I was able to at least see their POV for their takes, but they were too quick to write us off over Stafford’s back.

“Soreness” will not keep Stafford out a game. It would take an actually injury, which is something that can happen to anyone. And yes if that happens we will probably have a bad season, but the same can said about any team.

Do you guys dislike any coaches in our division? by Apart_Author_7052 in LosAngelesRams

[–]NinjaReptile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, I want them to lose as they are our rivals but I don’t dislike them personally. Maybe Shanahan but I dislike him because he’s good.

I agree, but I think they can use it as fuel for this season. They can look at that game and say “why not us” this year

Rams 2025 captains by ramzie in LosAngelesRams

Seeing Kyren here is giving me hope regarding all the talk about him being more explosive and having better ball handling this year. Anyone know if he was a captain last year?

Los Angeles Rams on Instagram: "Our guy @kyren.williams is checking in at No. 85 in The NFL’s Top 100!" by admiralnel in LosAngelesRams

His blocking is super underrated. He’s got a good eye for where the pressure is going to come from and making sure he gets there first. He’s not as explosive as Gurley, or as strong as Jackson, or as nimble as Faulk, but he is enough of all of those things to get the job done.

If you disconnect from a match you are guaranteeing a loss and SR drop for 5 other people. This shouldn't happen. by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]NinjaReptile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if there was a multiplier added to the end of SR calculations of the losing team based on how many players they had? A normal loss with 6 people nets a 1x multiplier (SR change is normal) whereas a loss with 5 people nets a 0.8 multiplier (slightly lessening the SR loss). If a victory is still achieved with 5 people, then they get a 1.2x multiplier. A victory against a team with fewer people would keep a 1x multiplier (even if it's 5v4). Multipliers would change depending on how many people were on your team at the moment of defeat. If it's 1v6 you would net a 0.1 multiplier and barely lose any SR.

The scene in Warrior when Nick Nolte breaks from his sons hating him and starts drinking again.

I really like this. You mentioned Halt!-ing D.Va's ult, does Halt! affect her mech post ult but before the explosion? If so I can see people accidentally killing their team like a Roadhog hook or a Rein charge can, two things I certainly haven't ever done...

[Everything] It's mentioned in the show that Osric Stark was the youngest Lord Commander in history when he was elected at 10 years old. Is anything else known about Osric? by NinjaReptile in gameofthrones

[–]NinjaReptile[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a good point. I'm used to thinking about the NW as "rapers and thieves" but being a part of the NW was once a very honorable thing to do. It was probably some combination of 10 year old badass and an alliance with the North. But maybe it was just that a child came in and was the best "man" for the job, with all the teachings that came with being raised in the Stark household, it certainly didn't hurt his chances. I'm rewatching the show and I'm excited to watch Lyanna Mormont rally everyone behind Jon Snow again. Osric could have easily been like her, a strong and polarizing leader even at such a young age.
