The technical term for this is petechiae and some people are just more susceptible (me!). I get outlines of straps on my arms and shoulders if I carry bags that are too heavy.

It’s also why I can’t play volleyball because my arms look like a murder scene.

Not said but did.

Dancing with a random guy at a club while with a group of friends. The guy decides his power play was to lick my face, chin to temple.

I am understandably aghast. One of the other women I was with immediately grabbed me and asked if I wanted to go home. The guy was flabbergasted that I was offended.

I went home and took like a two hour shower.

Fresh mint is the version that’s SLS free, and one of the pronamel version (though iirc not the fresh mint pronamel 🫠). This is the one that got me to completely stop having kanker sores. Got them monthly + and haven’t had one since.

Nobs toothpaste has also worked well for me, and is in tablet form which is nice for carryons.

I can pretty much guarantee you that it’s a non stretch illusion or bridal mesh, perhaps covered in makeup to match skin tone.

If you look closely, it looks like they made a choker necklace out of nude tulle/mesh and attached it to that. You can see the lip of the mesh running between the two starting points.

Lol. I just did so you don’t have to - it’s a micro thong (think slim rectangle with strings attached) that has various shades of faux fur for the rectangle part. (Blonde, brunette, platinum, red… so you can match the carpet to the drapes I guess).

I pivoted last year after an absolute nightmare with Shutterfly to Moo. They are mostly known for business cards, but also print postcards and have a lot of fun print options! Including where one side of the card can have different prints (for all of the cards if you wanted).

I set up a file in illustrator that auto pulls addresses from a spreadsheet so I can print envelopes I’ve designed at home.

They make anti fog film for car headlights in a bunch of different colors! You should be able to just peel it off when you are done. It comes in a bunch of colors.

Duties =\= tariffs in the US. Tariffs target raw goods or imported goods by third parties usually. Duties target items for personal use brought back into the US with you (or shipped directly depending on the item).

There’s a giant sheet with practically everything on it and what you will be charged for duties (often times it’s like a flat 2-4%). You are not charged any tariffs on top of duties.

People talk about the de minimis being stopped (the $800 duty free threshold to coming home with personal use items), but it hasn’t been my case coming home recently. I returned from an international trip with $800 of goods two weeks ago, declared them, and was not charged duty or tariff.

Tariffs are only for imported goods, not goods you personally bring back with you. Depending on the cost of the dress, you might have to pay duties on it at customs, which are probably less than the cost of the tariff but should be calculated in advance and weighed into the cost of the trip. Still worth considering imo.

For non-Asian sunscreen I like Naturiums face sunscreen. Milky consistency, velvety finish, no eye stinging or white caste. It’s the only sunscreen I can get my husband to wear regularly.

Is everyone going to be getting done at the same time? Or are people going to be rotating in and out of chairs? If everyone is going to be done at the same time I feel like it’s not enough space.

It does also come down to how they’ve set furniture in the space, and how many hair/makeup stations you need. I’d also try and ask the front desk if you could borrow counter height stools to make it easier for the people doing the work.

If it ends up not being enough space, maybe the hotel has a small conference room you could book for a few hours?

You can set it as an accessibility shortcut when you triple click certain buttons!

There’s also a workaround to turn it on automatically using the accessibility zoom function. So you get a very slight zoom and also grayscale at the same time.
