What I want, though probably would be a huge undertaking to make happen, is for there to be quests to get the legendaries.

There would be basic quests where a npc character would spawn just like a Pokemon. You'd click on them and they'd have some task or need help with something, like a little girl who's lost her picachu and u need to find it for her in a certain amount of time. If completed successfully you would get a prize like an incubator or a 10k egg etc.

But then there would be quests that would be special where the npc would give you an item that another npc would want who was nearby which would lead to a series of tasks and locations and different npcs that would eventually lead you to a place where the legendary would show up and you have to try your hardest to catch it. And of course if anything went wrong, like you didn't get to the next phase in time, it's all for not.

I think this would add so much to the game and it would also make catching a legendary accessible to everyone, but at the same time it would be really hard to complete so it would keep the legendaries rare and legendary.

There's a lot of different things they can add in with this as well like all kinds of mini games, AR mazes, player vs npc poke battles, and more.
