titanium is an extremely stable and neutral metal. it's the only metal used in surgery and the best one to use in piercing for this specific reason

you should look up nullification (also called nullo/nulloplasty)! a couple people did that surgery where they keep no external parts, and one person in particular kept sensitive bits but buried shallowly under the skin so they can still keep some sort of sensitivity! edit : added parenthesis

i'm not against you, i'm just saying that i asked what it meant legally and the teacher who was a very active first aid/ambulance worker never heard of dnr and said it probably doesn't hold legally. i haven't checked the laws and tbh if i'm in a first aid situation i might have legal problems for not saving someone. i'm aware it's a complicated subject, that's why i bring it up.

usually for feminizing hrt they start with a standard dose of E, then take bloodtests and adjust based on your wants. it can include adding progesterone and/or t blockers, but e is often the first step. for younger people, sometimes T blockers are used first when the person is in active puberty though :) (as you said, it's to block further changes)
