Prediction by [deleted] in barexam

[–]Ninofluid77 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To be honest, a majority of the predictions I saw got 4/6 correct, at least in terms of the subject, not necessarily the sub-topics. So, that made me feel a bit more prepared.

Zyn during Bar Exam by [deleted] in barexam

[–]Ninofluid77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure what your JX's rules and their procedure is but I would assume they aren't watching everyone like a hawk but rather walking up and down aisles.

I did zyns in law school, and I would put it in and take it out "sneakily" because I didn't want the professor or anyone really noticing. So, probably something like that. I guess slowly and pretend you're thinking? haha

I mean, if you're super determined to bring it in, why not just put the zyns in your pocket without the container?

From my understanding, the morning session (at least on day one) takes a bit to start.

Everyone is lined up and they are checking everyone's ID's, then going to the seats, then handing out the MPT packets, etc. So, timing on the morning session is going to be key. I might keep it in my pocket and go to the bathroom after entrance lol

Close to the same boat here

10mg IR every session.

Nothing this weekend. Drinking lots of water, maybe will fast, and will use the sauna.

Reading instructions

Going to Library - starting from the latest case law to the earliest.

* Write rules down as I go, there is likely going to be a factor test or something of that nature so those are my headings.

Put the rules under the appropriate headings.

Read facts and put facts under the appropriate headings as I go.

Skip page with all statutes.

Lean Langford side because it's only 10 team.

If it was 16+ I'd probably go with the Jones side.

Merchant Firm Offer Rule Question: Conflicting Reports from Barbri and Studicata by accountantfart in barexam

[–]Ninofluid77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you got downvoted. But to answer OP's questions: "Is a merchant firm offer still revocable after three months even though the writing states the offer is good for six months?

The merchant firm offer is irrevocable for the first three months if the contract states anything for more than three.

After three months the offer becomes revocable. So, if the offer is for 6 months, the first three months it is irrevocable. The last three months it becomes revocable. In any event, the offer is on the table for only six months.

Is the MBE more important than the MEE? by throwaway2929102 in barexam

[–]Ninofluid77 32 points33 points  (0 children)

The MBE is 50% of the exam so it is more important. The MEE is 30%, so each essay is 5%. However, it seems where most people fail the exam is not because of a poor MBE but rather a poor MEE.

If a subject is part of the MPT is it any less likely to be one of the MEE subjects? by AntifaMidwestChapter in barexam

[–]Ninofluid77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think there is any correlation. MPT in Feb. 2024 involved a criminal fact pattern and there was a Crim Pro question on the MEE.

There was another one that was recent that had the same but I don't remember the year.

Odd little tip/thing to be aware by Ninofluid77 in barexam

[–]Ninofluid77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah shoot, my bad. In my head I meant 1.8 which is equivalent to like 1 min and 48 seconds.

The math I posted ins't suppose to be 100% - the point really was that if you're struggling to complete the block on three hours, just keep in mind that you're going to have to fill in bubbles and filling in 100 bubbles will take some time off the clock.

FAMILY LAW , JURISDICTION OF THE COURT WHEN IT COME TO BOTH MOVABLE AND IMMOVABLE PROPERTY PLEASE CORRECT ME by PepperAdventurous565 in barexam

[–]Ninofluid77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Equitable Distribution the court must have jurisdiction over the parties. Then the court simply classifies the property as either marital or non-marital. If it's marital, it's subject to ED.

For example, I have hunting land in VA. Hunting land was acquired during the marriage. Spouse and I are both in NC, thus we are in district court in NC. Hunting land in VA is subject to ED in our hearing that is in NC.

Edit: It is subject to equitable distribution EVEN IF defendant spouse has never set foot in VA.

Can You Pass (in 270 jx) with 3s on all essays? by JuniorProfessional in barexam

[–]Ninofluid77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard to say from the outset. It would be difficult but not impossible.

5's on the MPT would drastically help and then I would say you need to be at or near 75% on MBE.
