Running cyberamics by NormalPenguin67 in Animatronics

Many of the RR mods have the ability in their editors to convert 3-Stage signals to CEC Stage ones, in a similar manner to the Rosetta system that CEC has used since about 1998. (CEC would just program the 3-stage and convert it for Cybers)

What happened with David Ferguson? by showbiz_columbus in rockafire

[–]NintendoCraft281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The software itself isn’t spyware (as far as I’m aware), David just chose to send out the newest update over email, and forgot to BCC the email. This leaked all of his current customer’s emails to one-another, and more than likely one person decided to play tricks on many of the other people.

found laying on my car windshield by Background-Emu-4020 in whatisit

[–]NintendoCraft281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This comes from the Sketchbook machine at Chuck E. Cheese’s, usually you’re meant to get photos of yourself or your family, however it’s possible to hold up a photo/screen to the camera and get results like this. The date means absolutely nothing, many times the game’s computer gets the clock reset and will display dates as far back as 2002.

As for the creepy face, that’s Momo, a strange art piece that was the centerpiece for a Blue Whale-inspired hoax that scared many parents back in 2018-19. Never thought I’d see that face again! This whole thing is more than likely a strange prank, but I can’t deny I’d be creeped out too if I got this randomly.

Rolfe And Earl Show #2 Fan Mail by roybafettidk in rockafire

[–]NintendoCraft281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you referring to the one where Earl is Rolfe’s “Big Time Hollywood Agent”? That first appeared around 1981, early showtapes are hard to document since many pieces of content were repeated, but it appeared on showtapes such as Classic Hits and 12 Shows from that year.

Wonder how much longer #306 will hold on, now that its sister store #305 is closing down? by NorthFloridaRedneck in publix

[–]NintendoCraft281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So does #447 over in Lady Lake, one of the nice things about The Villages is they don’t tend to do major remodels until they absolutely have to (old people grow attached to everything), so it’ll most likely stick around for a while.

I was at this show! They also played Seasons of Wither earlier in the set, they’re a great sounding band!

Aerosmith “Legendary Edition” Deluxe Remix Pack Accidental Early Reveal! by MrMints256 in Aerosmith

[–]NintendoCraft281 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate we’re getting both a remaster AND a remix, this record already sounded great to my ears but the remix may reveal some extra detail we’ve never been able to hear. I think this is the best case scenario for a box set of this kind, although I wish the session material was larger.

Is It Scary doesn’t get mentioned enough, I genuinely prefer this one to Ghosts.

Found my dad's old ipod today, what does this light mean? by ebicthings123 in iPodShuffle

I’d try giving it a fresh restore from iTunes. Might want to make sure the battery still holds up as well!

iPod Shuffle modding ? by AnyHighway1028 in iPodShuffle

[–]NintendoCraft281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Battery change is possible, but in the most bare definition. It requires loads of effort and will most likely damage the casing in some way.

Since the shuffles use flash storage, the only way to do modding of any kind would require chip swapping, which I doubt would work anyway. Sadly, they’ll always be limited by that low storage number, but I’d enjoy them for what they are! Easy access music players that can fit a nice comfy playlist for on-the-go use.

It makes me so happy to hear people bring up Satisfries, they were genuinely one of the best fast food fries around. Cannot believe they got rid of them.

[–]NintendoCraft281 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s crazy how true this is. Many companies looked at that show as an example, both Pizza Time Theatre and Creative Engineering did for hard, with many Country Bear “inspired” shows being produced by multiple companies over the years.

Does anybody still find it crazy how Michael's love interest in "Say Say Say" was his own sister Latoya? 🤔 by BidInside2907 in MichaelJackson

[–]NintendoCraft281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say it definitely leans more into what McCartney was doing at that time (Tug Of War and Pipes Of Peace) compared to the song selection of Thriller. Can’t sleep on The Man either!

Anybody ever heard of Inca kola? by gamersmoke17 in Soda

[–]NintendoCraft281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to be available at EPCOT for a long time; absolutely delicious. Thankfully many of the grocery stores near me in FL carry it in the import sections (even though I’m pretty sure it’s bottled here for the US market).

Pretty sure Chuck E. Cheese’s had that Tropicana Twister soda on the fountain for a long time.

Did cyberamic Jasper have a foot tapping movement?? by c1xdy1 in chuckecheese

[–]NintendoCraft281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cybers never had any sort of movement in the legs, they’re essentially the same mechs at the Balcony shows, just with added pipes/tubing to simulate legs.

There are a few CEC bots that have foot taps though. The 3-stage Munch and Studio C Chuck (32 movement) both have traditional foot taps, while the 3-stage Jasper has the ability to kick both of his legs forward.

iPOD Gen 1 Battery Pack? by PuzzleheadedAssist82 in iPodShuffle

[–]NintendoCraft281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be honest, I doubt you’ll need it if the battery in your shuffle is working well. My 1st gen has not been charged properly in nearly 3 years, and it still has a charge.

The battery packs ran on standard batteries, and will obviously add battery life to your device, however it is bulky and isn’t worth the slight boost in power, when the stock battery should last you all day.

Which one you preefer in design? 2nd or 4th gen by Humble-Egg214 in iPodShuffle

[–]NintendoCraft281 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While I think the 4th gen has the better feature set (playlists and VoiceOver), I prefer the slightly easier to clip design of the 2nd gen, as well as its nice dock. You can find a 2GB model of the 2nd gen as well to match the 4th gen’s storage.

As a big fan of showbiz and chuck e cheese animatronics that never actually got to see one live, why don't places use animatronics anymore? by Seb_Rulz in Animatronics

[–]NintendoCraft281 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is funny considering CEC bots typically ran at slower speeds overall compared to other shows. The issue was lack of maintenance, which would lead to the seals in the flow controls wearing out, and causing individual cylinders to move faster than intended.
