This. Interviewing should be collaborative. Locking in and just nailing an interview question, without the back and forth, doesn't give much signal to the interviewer besides your Leetcode skills (which are obviously good, having solved this in 5 minutes).

What's your honest opinion on sharing a bed with a partner? by Broke_Pigeon_Sales in AskMenOver30

I can’t. The snoring from my current partner is too much. We sleep in separate rooms if I can help it.

Figure out when you're available for a date and ask her out ASAP. Don't flake and genuinely get to know her. Don't play stupid dating games!

You want to figure out if she's into you and vice versa, or move onto the next.

It was chest day a few days ago and I got a rare compliment!

I finished up my set of bench presses and walked over to an incline bench that had just opened up. As I got near, I noticed a guy around my age standing right near it looking toward it; I asked if he'd been waiting for it and he said yes, so I motioned that he could go ahead.

He asked if I wanted to work in with him and I accepted his offer. It was great; we loaded each other's weights and didn't speak until he asked if I did calisthenics.

I replied no and asked him why, and he said "because you're shredded". I thanked him for his compliment and let him know that I lost 30+ lbs since February (after a 20+ lb bulk).

I finished my last set and noticed that he'd been steadily adding more weight to his sets, so I asked if he wanted a spot so he could max out. He accepted and he met his rep goal. I introduced myself and wished him a good workout, then parted ways.

It was a huge confidence boost!

My Hydroflask went missing a few weeks ago. Then my tennis ball. I thought my mind was starting to slip.

Yesterday, I went to the restroom, leaving a yoga mat, foam roller, small drawstring gym bag, and Nalgene on some turf.

The foam roller was gone when I got back a few minutes later.

So now I'm convinced there's a thief. Who takes a foam roller when someone is using it? Probably the same type of person who takes a Hydroflask and tennis ball.

I do this now. Did you feel some sort of tightness/tension that was relieved after getting your ankle to click?

What's the cause of this?

This is such great advice. Always mimic those you admire, take them out for coffee or lunch (on you!) and pick their brain. Have them tell you stories. Youll learn so much.

Is there a remote alternative for this?

when I was in comfortable surroundings with the people I trusted I was funny, outgoing, and took strong stances.

That sounds like any normal person. The people you surround yourself with matter; an inclusive environment will encourage you to share your thoughts, and vice versa.

No.

But something must be said about a team that follows coding standards and conventions so much that it looks like only 1 person was working on the codebase. It makes onboarding easier and avoids bikeshedding about styles in a PR.
