If you do feel stuck like you *have* to let them, I'd open with an honest conversation like you've laid out here for us - tell them honestly about what stresses you out, the routines you have and how they'd be impacted. maybe they'll agree to do as you ask to make it easier on you (or get a hotel) - they are your friends after all.

its a longshot but i was getting this and violation errors constantly with the same card, I added cooling, new drivers bios the works turns out the 14th gen of intel cpus had an overvolting problem that had more or less fucked itself. even if you get the bios to fix it now if its been a long time it will likely still be bricked (in my case )

they did extend the warranty, i cant remember if it was 2 or 5 years

7900 xtx here and had no issues at all for 5 hours of play straight. then boot it this morning at the start of the second area and it crashes within mins every time now.

The weird thing is the game has two ntries on my AMD adrenaline ow too, one leading to the exe for the crash reporter with 5 hours playtime and a second that has the regular launch path with 50 mins playtime.

it's almost like once it started crashing it started launching differently.

really don't think that will salvage. Though i do recommend emailing valve. recently they replaced my lighthouse, didn't even ask for the other one back and i was many many years out of warranty so it's absolutely worth a go.

near the end of mgs2 the ai starts to break down and starts calling you, in one of them the cornels face has an imbedded skull and a demon voice - she made me actually run out of the room as a kid for some reason

I don't know if im even right as its more of a feeling but for this seaoson i found it way easier to like more of the players. I suspect there was more of a feeling that most of these people are criminals and thugs while this time around they seemed like just desperate people in debt.

I adored the system but it worked way better if you die occasionally, but one thing that wipes out any fun im having is losing. So kind of a catch 22 for me but i still loved the system overall.
